Anyone here ever tried walking down the street in DC with a pitchfork? Did the cops stop you and try to make some bogus weapons charge?

"And just when will it be?"

Good question. Are we going to go down the same road as Venezuela and Hugo Chavez who used nominally democratic means to make himself a dictator?

Good luck to all. May our Lord Jesus be with you. May He bless all of you for the work you are doing. We are with you in prayer, although we cannot be there in person. May the Lord bless you and keep you. Thank you again. We will do our part with calls, faxes, emails and most importantly prayers.

Well said and needs repeating. Thanks rep-always.

May I ask a favor of anyone who manages to buttonhole anyone up on the Hill: There are 4 House seats vacant at the moment: NY-29, PA-12, HI-1, and FL-19. I live in NY-29. We don't have a Critter. The House, if the vote goes ahead, will leave over 2 million people out in the cold. There's no reason a vote should go ahead until those seats are filled. No reason excpet that the 'Rats don't want to lose.

Would someone please put in a word for the folks who won't have a say?

“[D]on’t assume common myths about this bill have been debunked,” lawmakers are told. “Be prepared to explain ... that Medicare is in fact strengthened”

"Strengthening" Medicare after gutting it isn't fair rhetoric. They just slashed payments to doctors. Increasing coverage 50% after reducing it 50% isn't an improvement. Tell 'em to cite exactly what the recent/current/future CUTS entail, _then_ have them reconcile that with "strengthened".

Folks,

Republicans can destroy the health care reform bill right now; if they will stress this message: By immediately raising taxes, this bill will sink our already struggling economy.

If media-prominent Republicans emphasize that single crystallized point, the political pressure on wavering Democrats in the House to vote no will increase enormously. Factually, the bill legislates massive new taxes on personal incomes and on medical devices & services: all of which go into effect immediately upon the bill’s passage. RAISING TAXES DURING A RECESSION will obviously hurt the economy. (Which is why Democrats have not dared attempt a tax increase despite controlling both chambers of congress.) So as unpopular as this ugly bill already is, it can be made much more so with simple clarion emphasis that: the bill is instant poison to an ailing economy.

The American people already hate what the bill stands for (the rotten substance of the bill) as well as they hate the corrupt process that has produced it. Now it needs to be branded into the national psyche that passage of the bill will straightaway cause personal financial harm to everyone. The ball game will be over if Republicans will simply apply immense pressure to that one crippling point. (They can use the new CBO numbers coming out on the reconciliation/fix-it bill as a fresh predicate to sound the alarm.)

Imagine variations of the following sound bites issued from media-prominent Republicans: “If the Health Care Takeover Bill becomes law, our taxes instantly go up, and it will make one of the worst recessions we’ve ever experienced much worse. Everyone knows you don’t raise taxes during a recession.” Or how about: “There’s something else Democrats aren’t telling you which is that this bill suddenly raises taxes in the middle of a recession. And you can’t do that and expect the economy to recover.”

Note that this is not the same as arguing that the added deficits this bill is certain to generate will be unsustainable in the long run. That’s the “Generational Theft” message which has been lucidly conveyed and has resonated with the American public. So severe concern has been raised… about the future. But the argument that the bill will also do serious harm to TODAY’S jobs and to TODAY’S fragile economy has yet to be forcefully made. – And this is the checkmate move that is needed during the endgame this week.

“Personally, I would love to see about 10,000 Americans actually take over the Capitol building if this thing passes via the Slaughter rule.’

That would be the day, the phonies here would kiss the shoes of the democrats rather than ‘break the law’.

Fox just showed some of the rally--but with the sound down.

Nothing on any of the C-SPAN channels.

FOX is showing some real short images of TEA Party members, not much though, I’m hoping someone gets out some pics all across the web because the MSM will probably ignore this again.

—That is not sound advice.

**B.S. It’s probably the only thing they’ll understand and not laugh off.

Bruce: Now, now - they also understand this:
1) VA
2) NJ
3) MA
4) 11/2010
5) 11/2012

If we stop Obamacare HERE and NOW, they will understand plenty. The idea that they are laughing at us is just not plausible. They may want us to ‘think’ they’re laughing at us, which is, after all, simply applying the Alinsky tactic of ridicule.

Don’t believe it.

Believe in the results of the opposition.

We are winning.
