Obama on Health Care Reform: Millions of Americans Will Be in 'More Secure Position'
Obama said what is true, and what came out in last month's health care summit, is that there is a "philosophical disagreement" between Democrats and Republicans on how best to proceed with reform.
"For most people who already have health insurance, they're not going to see much of a change except they'll have more protection in the insurance they already have,"Obama said. "But for millions of Americans, they'll be in a more secure position and the federal government and state governments are going to be in a position where they are not running these huge, outside multibillion-dollar deficits over and over again each year that add up to an unsustainable debt we'll be imposing on future generations."

It's been PROVEN over and over again that this health care plan will increase the deficits at every level. It's an absolute money pit and he's trying to make the idiots believe that it will save money?
Selling this health care plan as a deficit reducer is like trying to sell shaving cream as a couch.

I just listened to the Senate Press Conference of Thune, Demint, Coburn and Wicker. At the 13:34 mark, Dr Coburn dropped the bombshell that the will go straight to Court if the Democrats try reconciliation without it first being passed into law. All four are former House Members.

I just hope they ( Obama, Pelosi, Reed ) didn’t buy off some of the war hawk members of Congress who want to take care of Iran to get votes for the health care plan...

This was well-done. They're telling the House dems, Reconciliation is dead and that they (the dems) will get stuck with the Senate bill.
