In recent weeks, the Obama Administration has endorsed "healthy relations" between Iran and Syria, mildly rebuked Syrian President Bashar Assad for accusing the U.S. of "colonialism," and publicly apologized to Moammar Gadhafi for treating him with less than appropriate deference after the Libyan called for "a jihad" against Switzerland.
When it comes to Israel, however, the Administration has no trouble rising to a high pitch of public indignation. On a visit to Israel last week, Vice President Joe Biden condemned an announcement by a mid-level Israeli official that the government had approved a planning stagethe fourth out of seven requiredfor the construction of 1,600 housing units in north Jerusalem. Assuming final approval, no ground will be broken on the project for at least three years.
But neither that nor repeated apologies from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu prevented Secretary of State Hillary Clintonat what White House sources ostentatiously said was the personal direction of President Obamafrom calling the announcement "an insult to the United States." White House political chief David Axelrod got in his licks on NBC's Meet the Press yesterday, lambasting Israel for what he described as "an affront."
Since nobody is defending the Israeli announcement, least of all an obviously embarrassed Israeli government, it's difficult to see why the Administration has chosen this occasion to spark a full-blown diplomatic crisis with its most reliable Middle Eastern ally. Mr. Biden's visit was intended to reassure Israelis that the Administration remained fully committed to Israeli security and legitimacy. In a speech at Tel Aviv University two days after the Israeli announcement, Mr. Biden publicly thanked Mr. Netanyahu for "putting in place a process to prevent the recurrence" of similar incidents.
The subsequent escalation by Mrs. Clinton was clearly intended as a highly public rebuke to the Israelis

Btw, I don't think Obama is a Muslim or a Christian. I think he's an anti-White and thus anti-Western agnostic or atheist who will naturally side with "people of color" in any conflict, whether its Palestinians vs. Israelis or Argentina vs. Britain over the Falkland Islands.
Barry hates Israel. It’s a muzzie thing.
“I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you”
I am looking forward to see how our Almighty God will respond to Obama's hatred of Israel, the apple of God's eye.
During the campaign, he had the audacity to assert that “Israel has no better friend than me.” The sycophants of the treason-media complex didn’t even blink.
BHO, IMHBVAO,
IS
America’s punishment for turning our face from God.
The bama’s feelings toward our allies is an extension of his feelings toward America; he truly hates this country. Remember the image of a man who wouldn’t honor the flag or the National Anthem. His hatred is no secret.
How you could expect anyone RAISED FROM BIRTH TO ADOLESCENCE as a Muzzie could be anything else is beyond me.
No question about it. And he hates the UK, the fountainhead of our rule of law.
Good editorial. Thanks for the post.
I agree that the Obama administration and his supporters will be punished for turning against God and Israel, but I don’t think that part of America which is devoted to Israel and God will be included in the justified retribution.
Before Obama came to be President of the USA, while he was in the Senate, he wrote Senate Bill 2433, where he was wanting to give away the wealth of America to third world nations, mostly blacks. I knew right then that Obama wanted to destroy America, and that he had spent too many years in the ‘black liberation hate’ church. As a nation, we
should have known better than to vote for him. The evidence was there for us all to see.
