I sure wish that slippage time would result in the JSF being turned into the F-22.

Considering Lockheed covered up the first slippage, why would I believe them now. It is not unusual to have slippage and overrun but it is strange to give a briefing in October by Lockheed management that everything was on time and under budget and a few months later it is in cost overrun and slippage of 30 months. Now Gates waves his magic wand and halves the slippage or more.
