"Are we on seven-second delay?"--Mark Halperin on Morning Joe, prefacing his criticism of Pres. Obama's performance at the health care summit.
Halperin was surely being facetious, but the point about MSNBC's pro-Obama predilection was made.
The Time editor went on to rather comprehensively pan PBO's petulant performance. His comments were preceded by a clip of Pres. Obama rudely reminding Sen. John McCain of just who had won the presidential election.

Like reading
Pravda back during the Cold War to know my Godless Commie enemies, I just tuned in to CNN this morn and Kiran Chetry...
[sigh] still looks lovely [double sigh] even while she sold her soul to the devil.
The "Most News in the Morning!" from "The Most Trusted News Network in the History of Mankind!!" had a very short story on the Obamacare Summit and added "The CNN Fact Checkers gave the advantage to the President." None of the polls mentioned where the public continues to say the American People DO NOT want either of the Democratic bills.
So, the fix is still in at CNN. The Øbamanation is still the one and only deity!

""The CNN Fact Checkers gave the advantage to the President."
LOL!! I guess that was because the Republicans were reading from the ACTUAL BILLS and the Barry was spinning. CNN loves them spinning dems.

What is the primary difference between Conservatives and Liberals?
Conservatives hate when being lied to
and
Liberals love being lied to.

McCain should have responded to BO:
“Does winning mean you have no obligation to keep your promises?”
Or, if it were I:
“Are we negotiating with people who will promise anything to win and then dictate their socialist agenda to the American people?”

I wonder how many "real americans" other than us political junkies actually watched the informercial in the middle of a work day. I did a channel surf and none of the major networks were running it and even MSNBC was running the olympics. I think CNN and Fox were the only major networks that ran it.
What suprised me is that of few sound bites that the media seems to be playing; the McCain/Obama exchange, and the "I'm the president so I'll use as much time as I want". Neither, is very flattering to the president. Both make him look petty and nitpicking.

I saw something the other day (on CNN, I think it was) where the guy from Time was actually the more balanced and fairminded of the two guests. Of course that was an easy bar to hurdle since the other guest was the Democrat-sycophantic historian Douglas Brinkley.

I’m glad he hit on that first name crap. He is called “Mr. President” while calling those who have had YEARS in the Senate “John” or whatever.
It didn’t seem chummy, it seemed childish.

It was disrespectful, it was meant to establish him as the superior and them as subordinates to his will.
He’s worse than a petulant child not getting their way.
