Robert Gibbs admits premiums will go up regardless of anything done (vanity)

The Obama mouth, Robert Gibbs, while on Fox and Friends, just made a stunning admission. Gibbs conceded that no matter what passes, premiums will be going up. More proof that this isn't about healthcare, it's about a Government takeover.

Of course they’ll go up. Then employers will drop family coverage. Then coverage for the employee. It’ll all work out if we let it.

And did you hear Gretchen take him to task on this--I've heard the voice of the American people and they want HC reform. Gretchen pointed out that the polls stated differently. Not his polls. And--Scott Brown didn't get elected to kill the bill. Really?

How about Peter Johnson Jr. just now who said that the Repubs had to show respect for the president especially since this is a historic first-time African American presidency that would go down in history so the Repubs had to treat him with respect. And how does the Boy King treat us??? Stay tuned, Bill O. is up next...I'm sure my screaming will continue.

They keep pointing out California's Blue Cross increase, while omitting that mandates forces the high increase.

That California Blue Cross is a red herring. If the insurance did actually raise it by 39% then most people would dump them and go with another company, including corporate sponsored plans.

I’ll bet that Peter Johnson Jr does not even realize how much of a racist that he is.

Our insurance premiums went down for next year, the first time since we got this plan 7 years ago.

It’s about the earmarks (IMO). I thought I heard that there were some 7,000 earmarks in this monstrosity of a bill. And the congressionals wonder why the American taxpayers do not want this legislation passed!!!

My boss went shopping for a new policy because our insurance company had presented him with a 29% premium increase for this year. He found one that actually came down a bit from what we were previously paying (which caused the first company to offer us a renewal at last year’s price, which he politely told them to shove you-know-where). REAL competition would allow us all to do this.

USA Age pyramid, year 2000.

Inevitable cost increases due to aging population. Possibly the first time since the immediate aftermath of European introduced plagues upon Native American populations (Christopher Columbus onward) that the base of the pyramid is smaller than the middle.
