LAS VEGAS (AP) - U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said he hopes to pass a bill by next week to create a federal agency to promote tourism to the United States.
Reid says Republican Sens. John Ensign of Nevada, Johnny Isakson of Georgia and George LeMieux of Florida have agreed to support the bill, but he acknowledged he needs more GOP support for the Travel Promotion Act.

This is just Harry's way of spending more of our money to get more people to come to Las Vegas while the Marxist-in-chief tries to strangle our economy. And, yes, this is little more than a thinly-veiled re-election ploy and, yes, several Republicans will go along with it because you'd look anti-business if you didn't.
But it smells. This isn't what we put people in office to do.

I would never consider visiting Nevada/Las Vegas as long as that nazi democrat is a senator. Besides, who can afford it as they take more and more of OUR money from us.
There’s a reason tourism is down from overseas: INTERNATIONAL COMMUNISTS LIKE GEORGE SOROS HAVE CREATED A WORLD-WIDE DEPRESSION.
It seems he is susceptible to the statist argument that government can help the private sector. He should just say NO. Another gov. agency is the last thing we need. And his argument that the jobs bill is ‘revenue neutral’ because the money was already allocated is ridiculous because it’s exactly this kind of ‘allocation’ that is contributing to our debt.
