So its wrong to be duly compensated for services rendered? Besides, his half-mil is hardly the cause of their $700 mil hole. I say focus on what he does for them without obligation. From the article:
>> He had a marketing deal with the hospital. They signed up to give him that money. It's not like he held them up at gunpoint and started demanding cash or something.<<
I'm with you and note the obnoxious comments coming from people who just don't like either Eli or Peyton Manning. What, do professional ball players look at the accounting ledgers before they sign on to an ad deal? This just looks like an opportunity for people to take a cheap shot at Eli.

That's your opinion but Eli is still a jerk and a big baby. And he will never get another ring.

Ok, so you would never leave a company if you had another company knocking down your door to give you a ton more cash and a better lifestyle overall.
And make you infinitely more famous. Good for you.

Caribbean Islands will also become prime territory for American MDs to set up off shore if Kommunist Health Kare gets passed. Same Islands alreday host alternative cancer doctors

I will personally invest in those off-shore treatment centers if Obamacare somehow passes.

Would you want to trust your life to a bankrupt hospital that can’t fill its beds just on the word of a famous quarterback?

Plenty of alt MDs have blazed the way to move ops offshore and out of reach. Off shore can mean Mexico, Caribbean, Panama etc. The mainstream docs will join them if the 0bama-Kommies get their way. We shall see
Obviously the internet age makes off-shore access easier and more organized

One would hope they could fill the beds without him.
