I gave up the Olympics when I gave up on the UN... long ago. It is no longer what it was... and has grown corrupted... as much of our world has become.

No, me too....I stopped watching a long time ago when it became obvious that a lot of them are juicing. Same for pro-sports, though I do admit to watching a couple of Redskins games on TV a year - They obviously need better steroids if they are going to compete.

I only watch the Olympics when the events feature well-toned female bodies in spandex.

I watched the opening ceremonies, but haven’t watched anything else. My husband, who is Canadian, kinda/sorta follows them.

No your not. I can’t stand to even watch the commercials for them. I think it’s the biggest hype over nothing. You want to see real athletes? Go to a Little League baseball game. I do sometimes. These kids really put thier hearts in it for the sake of the game.
