US secretary of state says her country focusing on trying to change Iranian behavior, not planning anything other than sanctions
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said her country has no plan for military action against Iran over its nuclear program, in a television interview broadcast on Wednesday.
"Obviously, we don't want Iran to become a nuclear weapons power, but we are not planning anything other than going for sanctions," she told al-Arabiya television.

Used to be, we had plans for military actions for every conceivable scenario anywhere on earth.
Maybe Obama ordered all those plans burned.
It’s a simple solution, you invite some Iranian Dignitaries to a dinner at the State Department and you give them an ultimatum.. you have 120 days to close your uranium enrichment facilities under US supervision and you will cease and desist end your nuclear ambitions or you will be annihilated and hand them a countdown clock.
Around countdown day 90 you start bringing home all US troops and advise Pakistan & Afghanistan you’ll be back when the area cools down.
When the UN steps in you give them the same time frame to get off US soil.
When the 120 days are up you wait 2 - 3 days and then wipe them off the map.
Once the above is done.. there will be peace in the middle East.
Fer crying out loud, the Pentagon has "war-gamed" every imaginable (and most unimaginable) scenarios and holds periodic updates on these "contingency plans" to keep them current. I'd bet we have plans to invade Canada!
No one expects a "Clinton" to speak the truth anyway...no harm done.
