John David Wells, KLIF host of The Wells Report in DFW, discusses the Beck/Medina interview at 6:05 PM. Wells says he has new information to put the interview into perspective and put a whole new spin on it.

Let me guess, he is going to repeat the Alex Jones conspiracy theory that Beck set her up and zapped her with a mind control device to make her give a stupid answer.
Is there a transcript somewhere? How does he explain away her damning comments before and after the Beck show? (I assume this account attempts to paint her in a better light.)
Wow. Cool. I think I'll believe that one. It's the most fun.
The entire argument it was a ‘set up’ flys right out the door when you consider Medina gave similar answers in at least a couple more interviews that week.
The interview should be starting right about now?
No it’s coming up live now. Listen and watch live at http://www.justin.tv/the_wells_report#r=YqvQTnU
She did a long interview AFTER Beck’s where she said even MORE incriminating stuff.
She’s is not ready for public office and she’s a moron to boot!
Medina is without a doubt a strong supporter of the constitution and the tenth amendment. She’ll get my vote.
The fact that she is a darling with Alex Jones is all I need to know.
What legislative history of hers supports this? She is a politician, she'll say anything to get a vote like a used car salesman will say anything to sell a car. Her only claim to fame is suing the RNC to try to prevent seating of electors at the State convention because Ron Paul lost- not a very Constitutional action.
How do you put a train wreck “into perspective and put a whole new spin on it?”
It sounds like he’s equating 09/2009 Glenn Beck statements with 02/2010 Medina statements about asking reasonable questions of the government.
Oh brother. Are you listening to this? “Glenn Beck made Debra Medina look like an idiot. I wonder what he would have done if he had interviewed himself?”
That’s just it; I cannot watch/listen right now.
Some of my Democrat bosses today said they’re voting for KBH in the Republican Primary to assure a Bill White win in November. The thought is that the Medina vote is siphoning off votes for Rick Perry, so it won’t take a lot of them crossing over in the primary to tip the vote to KBH.
They’re not worried about Bill White as he is a shoo in to be the Democrat Party’s candidate in November.
I am already in the Medina is too infiltrated with the 911 conspiracy group, so I will hold my nose and vote for Perry camp, but your statement about the lawsuit involving Medina is not correct. The lawsuit was about party business occurring before the election of the Permanent Chair of the Convention; and it was dismissed because of a lack of jurisdiction, not on the merits.
I did some calling around last weekend. People I know have know Medina for years; she used to attend a large church in Sugar Land (with Tom DeLay, as a side note). Apparently, some of Medinas strongest early backers and most of her active campaign workers are of the 9-11-Bush-Cheney-Profits for Halliburton conspiracy belief. I was told they have been sending around conspiracy e-mails for years.
One more comment: later during the Beck interview, Medina flat out lied when she claimed she did not know of any 9-11 Truthers advising her.
Beck: Ok, that’s fine. Do you, do you have advisors or people that advise you around you that are 9/11 truthers?
Medina: Not to my knowledge.
No perspective is necessary. She’s open to listening to the nonsensical rants of anti-American propagandists. What “perspective” will make that better?
She has permanently and irrevocably lost my vote.

“She has permanently and irrevocably lost my vote.”
Same here, and I have enjoyed your comments over the past 5 days. I appreciate the small government, big freedom views of Medina, but I cannot hand our State over to leadership tainted by the 9-11 conspiracy group.
Perry must be the luckiest politician I know. Why dont we have a real Texas conservative challenging him?
