John Podesta, president of the Center for American Progress, an unfluential liberal think tank, and former chief of staff to Bill Clinton talks to Edward Luce, Washington bureau chief.
He discusses his views on "the mess" in which the Obama administration finds itself.

Kind of funny, though I don't think they meant to say that.
Obama will, maybe, start to realize that when you surround yourself with fools, you will look the fool yourself. But....right now.....I don’t think he sees it.
At least we agree on something, Podesta!
Sounds nasty. Like a septic tank, or something.
Figures that libs would be comfortable there.

"You people just don't get me."
In other words, we are too stupid to understand the ‘brilliant intellectuals’ trying to make our lives better. /s

Former aide urges Obama to regain political narrative
Barack Obama, US president, has lost control of the political narrative and needs to make more use of his cabinet in order to regain it, says John Podesta, the man who headed the presidents transition team.
My friends in the White House would agree with this, that they lost the narrative, Mr Podesta said in an interview for View from DC, the Financial Times video series from Washington. Clearly that needs not one speech once in a while: it needs, I think, to be constantly reinforced. And not just by the president, but by his entire team, Hes got a terrific cabinet. Use it. Get out into the country and use it.

let’s not be overconfidant. never underestimate the enemy
I am just not that into him
America’s high status in the world can be boiled down politically and financially to stability.
Democrats seek to ruin that.
Obama is the shepherd I did not want.
He leadeth me beside the still factories.
He restoreth my faith in the Republican party.
He guideth me in the path of unemployment for his party's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the bread line,
I shall fear no hunger, for his bailouts are with me.
He has anointed my income with taxes,
My expenses runneth over.
Surely, poverty and hard living will follow me all the days of my life,
And I will live in a mortgaged home forever.
I am glad I am American,
I am glad that I am free.
But I wish I was a dog .....
And Obama was a tree.
Seek. They already have ruined it. I am not sure where Podesta is going. The public hates what is going on and if ntehy don’t - they are not paying attention.
Democrats largely caused this with CRA lawsuits to force banks to lend to anyone who could fog a mirror.
JoPo’s president of The Center for American Progressives. Another collective for the collectivists, of the collectivists and by the collectivists.
I would urge Obama to simply lead. However, leadership is way above his pay grade.
Hey, why not have them, Obama included, start making guest appearances on the colon-cleaning guy's show?
Let's do it!!

Maybe they meant ‘an influenza liberal think tank’? Those dirty, smelly libs never wash their hands!
ditto 1 & ditto 2.
