New and Improved Romney
That said, is it not incredible how much “love” Romney
brings with him. So much “respect”, and so much
“trust” and “confidence”.
Sort of like Romney’s real boss, Barack Hussein Obama.
IOW, he’s embarrassed he can’t pull Palin-like numbers so disguises the lack of interest by using small venues to give speeches.
¿Quién es más macho? Mitt Romney o Ricardo Montalban?
Can’t wait to see the sales number for this craptacular book.
Volunteering for the TANG (Texas Air National Guard) is not dodging the draft. Volunteering to join the deployment of the TANG in Viet Nam is not avoiding war time service.
Flying an obsolete jet as part of the National Guard during war is not only not dodging the draft, it is statistically more dangerous than being assigned many other military specialties and SERVING over in Viet Nam.
And four months of service (in a very dangerous specialty at a very dangerous time in a very dangerous region) and four purple hearts for superficial wounds doesn't make one a “war hero”; it makes you John “threw his medals over the White House gate; but bought more to put on display in his Senatorial office” Kerry.
FTA: “But some of those same people concede that, as a political strategy, there are two big potential hazards to “letting Mitt be Mitt.” First, Romney’s previous reinventions as a fairly liberal US Senate candidate, a moderate gubernatorial candidate, and then as a conservative presidential candidate have already strained his credibility beyond the breaking point. Any further change even to become the real, authentic Romney will be viewed with suspicion, if not derision.”
Yes, derision. It’s time to mock, deride and ridicule this silver-spoon, pampered, softhanded coaster. It’s unconscionable that Romney allowed/paid for, in his own name, the vicious slander of Palin from 8-29-08 to the present, because he was too weak, too much a coward to debate Palin on the issues and let the voter decide. He wanted his little yesmen and acolytes in the media and D.C. to diminish her in the eyes of the GOP base and independent voter before she had a chance for these voters to hear/see what her capabilities truly are.
He’s really got the financial/big business, imperial wing, of the GOP sewed up. Which is the people that brought us Bob Dole, the Bush’s, Quayle.
I can not imagine as a class, or network that these people, in effect the GOP have anything but loathing for Palin. I think they would be way more comfortable with a GOP house or Senate, and Obama or another Democrat, than Palin.
On the other hand, who’s Palin going to bring in with here? Basically, so what. She’s President, the vast majority of something like 15,000 Presidential appointees will be GOP picks. So, like Obama, let Palin play President, swivel in the chair.
