"When the [Joint] Chiefs come forward and say 'we think we can do it,' is strikes me that it's time to reconsider the policy."

The Joint Chiefs are nothing more than politicians wearing uniforms.
It is not they to whom you should be listening, Mr. Cheney.

correct it is high time to ask those who serve and would have to share showers, sleeping bags and rooms with homosexuals who dance around letting everyone know their a homo

the joint chiefs are political and care about their own futures.

amazing how those like me who have served on the large majority do not want this and yet we have elected official which will not get affected by this telling us we have to have it

you can bet that this will be an election decider for many especially the likes of vets and the military including the blacks who serve and voted for phony

I have yet to hear anyone point out 3 good points for overturning this and tell me how this will improve the miltiary and yet there are many problems it brings.

Rather broad brush you're using, gomer. Not all of the Chiefs agree with Soetoro, Mullen, and Cheney.
