My speakers are out so I haven’t had a chance to listen to the video (and I’m sure I’m missing much without hearing the explanation). I thought the original concept of CPR was to keep oxygen going to the brain … no mouth-to-mouth, how is this possible?

There is oxygen in the blood. By continuously doing chest compressions you are constantly sending oxygen to the brain.

I figure the reason for mouth-to-mouth was to continue to put air into the lungs, and keep whatever amount of oxygen that's in your exhaled breath flowing throughout the victim's blood.
