Let’s just face facts; it takes a lot of time, energy, technology and resources to feed Americans, whether we’re eating animals or plants...with the added BONUS that we get to feed the REST of the WORLD as well, with little or no thanks, I might add.
Screw any fanatic with the idea that their way of ‘living’ is the ONLY way to go. It would never dawn on me to force my food choices on another. What a bunch of holier-than-thou snots Enviro-Weenies, Climate Changers, Vegetarians and Alternate Transportation Worshipers can be!
It’s nice to see them taken down a peg once in a while. :)

“The meat eaters eventually subdued the gatherers.”
And then ate them.

A cabbage, quietly minding its own business, suddenly beheaded and hacked into cole slaw! None may ethically eat anything, except a cabbage which has died a natural death.

Are road killed cabbages considered “natural deaths”?

To paraphrase the Arrogant Worms, road kill is murder!

Allowing one to eat such would just induce crazed motorists to purposely run down defenseless veggies, just so they could eat them.

Several years ago, they had to rewrite a local law that allowed motorists who had hit deer to tag and keep them, regardless of the season.
Why?
Because some of the “road kill” was being tagged in the middle of fields with 4WD truck tracks leading up to it.
Welcome to Hillbilly World...:)

What a bunch of holier-than-thou snots Enviro-Weenies, Climate Changers, Vegetarians and Alternate Transportation Worshipers can be!I agree completely. I'd add that I think it's a minority of vegetarians that are offensive about it, just as it's a minority of meat-eaters who who give us veggie-killers the holier-than-thou my food is better than yours speech.

While we’re at it, let’s throw those snotty, spandex-wearing Metrosexual boy bikers that hog my back country roads while I’m trying to bring in the hay or the corn! One of them is going to make a nice Hood Ornament for me some day, LOL!
Yes, also a minority of people...yet all specialized monorities seem to wield such power these days. The rest of us, just going about our lives don’t seem to stand much of a chance. *SIGH*

LOL. As it happens I am a cyclist as well as a vegetarian, and once again I am in complete agreement! I am careful to ride at places and times that won't interfere with traffic and can't stand the arrogant I-am-greener-than-thou-bikers!
I think it all comes down to manners. It seems many people were never raised to consider the other guy.
To: SupplySider
Glad to see you have a good sense of humor about it. Man, some people get bent all out of shape if you DARE to question them questioning YOUR choices. :)
