Sheriff Joe Says: Come Meet J.D. Hayworth!
Tucson Weekly ^ | 2/11/10 | Jim Nintzel

Posted on 02/11/2010 10:15:39 PM PST by pissant

Imagine my surprise just now when I picked up the phone and Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio was on the other line! At first I thought it was Max Cannon pulling another prank, but then I realized it was really was Sheriff Joe, or at least a robot version of him, inviting me to downtown's El Presidio Park at 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15, to meet J.D. Hayworth, the former congressman who is chewing Sen. John McCain's ass.

Robo-Joe said something to the effect that McCain had supported amnesty and cap-and-trade legislation. Oh, that McCain! Such a lib. (BTW: Arizona's senior senator is scheduled to be our guest on Arizona Illustrated's Friday Roundtable next Friday, Feb. 19.)

Anyway, thanks the invite, Sheriff. You can bet I'll be there!

That's hardly a fair fight, I almost feel sorry for the RINO's. Nah, not really.

Juan McCain is running the most annoying radio ads imaginable. If I were a McCain supporter, I would vote against him just because of those ads.

Heh... If McCain wins this time, I will give up on voters! If this election does not illuminate the problems with Washington “insiders”, nothing will! McCain is the ultimate Washington insider - go along with whatever is popular with the political class or the press (hell with the people). I swear if he wins this time, all is over - Tea Party and all!

If that occurs, the only resolution is absolute revolt!

I haven’t heard Juan’s ads, but do understand what you mean.

KB Hutchison is running dispicable TV attack ads against Perry in her bid to win the GOP primary for Gov of Texas.

McCain and Hutchison have both been in D.C. far too long and have no shame in playing dirty the beltway way.

I hope McCain and Hutchison both get their butts kicked!

I know how you feel. Everytime I hear one of his radio ads I start screaming at the radio.

Ending the recall petition in 2001 was a big mistake. We should have taken him out back then, when we had a chance.

Toward FREEDOM!

...J.D. Hayworth, the former congressman who is chewing Sen. John McCain's ass.

I wish!

I don't know what the poll #'s are in the McCain / Hayworth race, but I don't think we should get too excited just yet. After all, McCain has Palin & the GOP Party establishment behind him, so JD is gonna have a steep hill to climb, won't he?

We can't forget the Jack Abramoff problem too, which McCain could use against him. How much damage would that do to JD in the general election if he is able to beat McCain in the primary?
