Wednesday, February 10, 2010 The NFL Violates Children

I haven’t said much over the years as the NFL has been bowing at the alter of political correctness. In recent years they have become known as the “No Fun League” as they systematically altered the game with ridiculous rules such as those banning silly end zone dances many of us have come to love.

I am not going to remain aloof regarding the glaring hypocrisy of the NFL. They claim to have made this ridiculous ban on end zone celebrations because it is supposedly a bad example for the children – yet they have no compunction about violating these children with..."

Sorry, folks. Pro football is adult entertainment.

Send the kids out to play in traffic during the game.

“What’s that other one? Trash talking or something to another player while they’re lining up ....”

I think that is a new one. Why not just let that fall under the jurisdiction of “unsportsman like conduct”?

It’s like the way liberals make overlapping regulation.

“Did they ever decide whether the Fort hood terrorism is a “hate crime”?”

I don’t think it’s a new one because I’ve seen the foul called on it several times ... just remembered it’s called ‘taunting’ ... Oh dear ....

What they violated was my eyes. How many ugly people in underwear did we see during that game?

I was glad while watching the Super Bowl that our kids are adults and I didn't have to explain the trash and the underwear to my children.

On top of that, was there even one commercial that was legitimately funny?

Maybe I missed it, but I don't remember even one.....

The Green Police ad was funny in a strange way. The Green Police could well be in our future, if the enviro-radicals continue to gain power and influence.

The thing about paper vs. plastic bags showed how dense the liberals are. They came out with plastic bags en masse in grocery stores in the early ‘80s due to the effforts of the enviro-radicals, to save the trees and all that. Now plastic bags are an enviro hazard, but, the reason we have the plastic bags in the first place is because of a previous generation of liberals who knew what was best for us.

I didn't think so.

Other than Tim Tebow tackling his Mom, that is. :)

Yeah..........I heard Rush talking about that one, but when I actually watched it, I thought it was just wierd.

Funny how the liberal environmental nazis always harm what they intend to "fix."

You'd think they'd learn, but then again, they ARE liberals, aren't they? :)

I'm sorry you felt that way. I thought the Snickers commercial with Betty White and Abe Vigoda was hysterical.

Oh, yeah. That one at least made me smile.

Betty White's getting tackled was pretty amazing. :)

“with ridiculous rules such as those banning silly end zone dances many of us have come to love.”

love?

I think it should be a 15-yard penalty and automatic ejection from the game, not for “unsportsman-like conduct” but for “African-American-like conduct”.

These people are supposedly “professionals”.
