The Democrats' reversal "is like a big body blow," said Mr. Jennings. "You either stammer and fall down, or you stammer and regain your balance. What Americans respect are those people who can take a punch and come back."

But it’s the American people who are doing the punching here.Plus,Americans don’t respect people who they regard as traitors.
I will never forget the Hand of Providence.
All they were waiting for was the latest CBO scoring...that was it. Then they were going to pass it.
We missed health care by the skin of our teeth.
I wonder if many will remember how close we came that week and how perilous it was.
Like 9/11 it will likely be forgotten how very close to the edge we were.
Of course this bozo is referring to his hope that the Dems can make a comeback in the fight to pass Obamacare. In that regard he is simply dreaming. And the dream is totally divorced from the current political realities.
OTOH, his comment is quite applicable to the Republicans who have been reinforced and been given a spine by the patriots in the Tea Party Movement and find themselves back up off the canvas and ready to take it to the Dems this November.
It ain't over with until its over with!!
And we all should be wise to not put the guard down now. Abomination wants a televised bipartisan health care summit???
This guy really does not know how to govern nor lead does he?
Tennessee has joined several other states in trying to pass a Health Care Freedom Act. NO COLAs for granny, retired Military or retired fed employees. BIG NEW fees for Tricare for Life retired over 65 Military's secondary health ins. (DOD bill already passed, delayed but goes into effect 2011)
New Dem mantra: Woof, woof eat dog food granny....ala let them eat cake.
I bet this commie-lib is still denying that Scott Brown won because of this awful bill and his critical vote.
They'll try to sneak it thru however they can.
But they were dealt a huge and what might be a fatal blow that week.
Just in the very nick of time before that last CBO score. Really. I'm still breathless at how close that came.
So right. No time to go wobbly now. We're on the cusp of victory.
