Many Washington insiders who cling to their faith in democracy while deathly afraid that people unlike themselves might actually get involved in politics are busy assuring each other at cocktail parties and on Sunday talk shows that the newly involved will lose interest before the next election.

Not. Gonna. Happen.

Here's something else for the chattering heads to fret about while munching on brie and caviar: As the determination of the tea partiers remains strong and even grows as the year goes on, the worship and fascination of Obama will continue to wither and decay.
