I didn’t do so well in English but I think that is a misplaced modifier. I had to read the sentence several times to figure out that Young has the tape stored in a safe deposit box, not that Edwards and Hunter were having sex in a safe deposit box.

I’m trying to imagine why the FBI would have any use for or need a copy of a private sex tape.
As far as I know, sex is not yet a federal crime and having made a private sex tape is not illegal unless it is used for extortion.
Is the aide planning to use it for extortion. Oh, excuse me, by revealing its existance he already has.
Those of us who lean toward the Libertarian side ought to be outraged at this invasion of two people’s privacy.
I read the Young book and found him a sympathetic fugure. He made some serious mistakes in judgement and was overzealous. I don’t blame him for writing the book and he didn’t try to sell the tape.
