Brown Heads To Washington

Senator-elect Scott Brown left his Wrentham home today, en route to Washington, D.C., to be sworn in to office. He was officially certified this morning in a brief procedural hearing at the State House. Brown is expected to be sworn in around 5 p.m. today by Vice President Joe Biden. The Globe photographers followed him...

Brown removed the top of a sconce to change the light bulb outside of his house before leaving for Washington, D.C.



Brown left with his wife, Gail Huff.



Brown packed up his now-famous pickup truck.



Brown took a photo of himself (his wife was in the front passenger seat) before hopping in his truck.



Brown gave the thumbs-up sign as he drove away from his house.



Brown and his wife arrived at Logan International Airport to catch their flight for Washington D.C.



The senator-elect spoke to the media after his arrival at the airport.



Brown received his airline ticket for Washington, D.C.
