Kids' sex talk rocks teachers (4th/5th graders shocking talk)

TEACHERS are overhearing Tasmanian primary students boasting about having oral sex.

Roz Madsen from the Australian Education Union said teachers "felt helpless" at how to deal with the problem. "The students are talking about what they have done on the weekend, sexual experiences that they are having," she said.

"Anecdotally it seems to be happening at earlier ages."

She said at a recent AEU forum, teachers had described what children in grade 4 and 5 talked about.

And Bill Clinton was worried that he wouldn’t leave a legacy...

The hypocrisy of these “educators” is simply staggering.

Or ignorance.

Probably would be better to deal with the total baldfaced lies and empty boasts that they’re spouting to each other rather than, what I suspect is the likely ‘cure’ suggested, more explicit sex ed explanations and an increased campaign to distribute prophylactics and chemical sterilization of young girls.

It’s not as bad as it sounds.
4th and 5th grade is higher education in Tazmania.

All cultures are equal now and the lowest common denominator is the most influential. I'm 67, haven't lived a sheltered life, but I still get shocked by what I hear and see.

Honor is a foreign concept now, honesty is optional and a strutting ignorant arrogance is the rule.

We should have revolted 30 years ago!

Look at the parents. This is the problem.

Parents are apathetic, don’t pay attention to their kids, they set bad examples and many of them openly encourage, nurture and, in some cases, coach such behavior.

My 9 year old daughter in the third grade won her school spelling bee yesterday. Although she was blessed with much natural ability, she would not have been able to beat all the 4th and 5th graders without working hard. She worked her tail off the week before. She’s still working because she has regionals Saturday and there she will have to face kids from all ages up to and including the 8th grade.

All of our children have the same work ethic, are polite, well-behaved, they don’t so much as cuss and they try to help others as much as they can. They are this way because that is what I and their mother instilled in them. They are winners because of it. They have great futures ahead of them. My wife and I have much to do with that.

If kids that age are having oral sex and openly talking about it at school, what does that tell us about their parents?

There is absolutely no doubt that this is the shared legacy of The Rapist and Monica Lewinsky.

I too am old enough ...
I am struck by the contrast between what filth teens blurt out in public at the Mall, and what they do not blurt out at Wal-Mart because they would be shamed for their filthy mouths.
I've become intolerant in my elder years, so I no longer spend money in the Mall bizarre bazaar.

It tells us that those parents care much more about healthy socialization via government schools than you do! You sound like homeskooling kooks!

No, these are Australian elementary school kids who weren't even born then.

This is caused by dumb parents who put unfiltered internet and/or cable TV in their kids' rooms.

I don’t know why they are shocked at all. My great grand father and grand father would have been carted to jail today for child molestation. Great grand mother having children at age sixteen and my grand mother seventeen and all. Funny they never divorced 11 and 5 kids.

In March, Family Planning, the AEU and other groups including Parents and Friends and Relationships Australia will join forces at a forum to call for sex and relationship education to be part of the school curriculum.

The Education Department leaves it to individual schools to decide how to offer this, which Ms Williams said meant the quantity and quality varied dramatically.

"Teachers say there is no central policy so they feel quite vulnerable to take it on," she said.

SIECUS and its Tasmanian counterpart must be absolutely thrilled. Not only have they been able get the kids sexualized so early, but now the parents and teachers don't know what to do and will need the sexperts to come in and take care of the problem for them.

The saying in SIECUS is, "Sex before eight, or its too late." They got the kids right under the wire!

Stand-up comics and sitcoms did not use the word “penis” on television until AFTER Anita Hill.

There were no “comical” references to oral sex by comics and sitcoms until AFTER Monica Lewinsky.

There was an EXPLOSION of oral sex among children after the Lewinsky scandal. The little tykes who weren’t born in 1998 are the younger siblings and cousins of those who were, and they are most assuredly the beneficiaries of these ground-breaking ladies, and Bill Clinton.
