(Newser) – Film director cum pot-stirring historian Oliver Stone has blasted the official version of JFK's assassination as a "national fairy tale." To this day, "many key Americans in power are in total denial about this story," Stone told a group of students in Thailand.
"They don't want to know about the possibility that he was killed by someone other than Lee Harvey Oswald."
Stone's film JFK suggested a massive conspiracy linked to the CIA was behind the president's murder.
The director was in Bangkok on a series of talks funded by the Vienna-based International Peace Foundation.

In the movie remake, the true assassin will finally be outed as a young George Bush.
Dont forget a young Cheney telling JFK to “drive around in a roof-less car”.
Didn’t they already try to implicate GHW Bush claiming “he said he didn’t know where he was when Kennedy was shot”?
I prefer the version where the gunman on the grassy knoll is John Dillinger, who never really died (it was a double killed at the movie theatre, dontchaknow).

I think it was George Hickey with the AR-15 who accidently fired the kill shot while riding in the rear jumpseat of the Secret Service followup car. It’s as good a theory as any other I’ve read about.

This is pretty stupid, even for Hollywood: Stone(d) can’t tell the difference between his films and reality.
I wonder if he knows about the plans for assassination attempts in Chicago, Nov 2 and Tampa, Nov 18. I'll bet he would really freak out.
