Look up the history of “Yankee Doodle”.

We are far better off adopting the term as our own. Even now, after less than a year, there are far more political overtones to the term than sexual.

The minute we object, we have lost our advantage. Stand strong, stand proud and turn their derision against them.

Yeah...they were calling us ragtag army...they weren’t calling us “Horse Buggers.”

Not a name we would have embraced, I don’t think.

To “sandbag” means to hit with telling blows (think of how heavy a bag of sand is). Why not “teabag” in the same sense?
