Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) wants Obama to use the State of the Union address to reach out to Republicans.

It’s something the 2008 Republican candidate defeated by Obama says the president has failed to do since entering office.

“I'm still waiting for him to fulfill his campaign promise of sitting down together and negotiate in good faith with one another and not ram things through,” he said.

Good grief. We don’t want hollow symbolism anyway. Zero’s lies and McCain primarily provide valuable coer for RATS. Little else.

When the RATS start to adopt conservative positions in their bills that will be actual biparsisan “reaching out”.

So if in the speech Obama says “I created job in 2009” and follows that with “I am reaching out to REPUBs today” then McCain will continue shilling for the RATS.
But Obama lies.

Every time I hear a Republican crooning that “We really need some kind of health care legislation, but this bill isn’t it!”, I want to scream, “No we don’t”! I don’t think the majority of Americans want all of our health care dollars to run through Washington’s dirty hands. That is what this is all about. Not better health coverage, it is about money flowing through DC.
