Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) wants Obama to use the State of the Union address to reach out to Republicans.
Its something the 2008 Republican candidate defeated by Obama says the president has failed to do since entering office.
I'm still waiting for him to fulfill his campaign promise of sitting down together and negotiate in good faith with one another and not ram things through, he said.

I am deeply dismayed that Scott Brown is backing this...this...person. I actually sent the Brown campaign money. Well, I won’t make that mistake again...

He is as out of touch with reality as a democrat.
It’s really unbelievable he is up in AZ polls.

It’s not like Scott Brown is a conservative. In fact, if he was not from Mass, nobody on this site would have wanted him elected. Do you believe that if he was the Alabama canddiate we would have been doing back flips. No way. He is closer to John McCain than Rush.

Obama’s SCOTUS jabs regarding the Speech rulings are to coo McCain - in my opinion.

Please go away. You served our country as a hero in Nam, but you are an evil corrupt criminal as a leader.
Please go away.

Good grief. We don’t want hollow symbolism anyway. Zero’s lies and McCain primarily provide valuable coer for RATS. Little else.
When the RATS start to adopt conservative positions in their bills that will be actual biparsisan “reaching out”.
So if in the speech Obama says “I created job in 2009” and follows that with “I am reaching out to REPUBs today” then McCain will continue shilling for the RATS.
But Obama lies.

"Its something the 2008 Republican candidate defeated by Obama says the president has failed to do since entering office"
Which is true, and it was something he campaigned on, so this helps us with floating voters, who turned MA from a bare win into a rout.
This does not deserve a "massive" barf alert.
This is what passes for an attack by McCain, and it resonates with independents.
It's a news story for them.
Get a grip.

Why would anyone believe a single thing the LIAR has to say at this point? Some of us can see how really “transparent” this poser is.

Every time I hear a Republican crooning that “We really need some kind of health care legislation, but this bill isn’t it!”, I want to scream, “No we don’t”! I don’t think the majority of Americans want all of our health care dollars to run through Washington’s dirty hands. That is what this is all about. Not better health coverage, it is about money flowing through DC.
