Adult stem cells saved my life

Imagine a tragic automobile accident that leaves a young girl a quadriplegic. Imagine a young mother of two who discovers that a disease is ravaging her body and turning her vital organs into stone. Imagine a young baby who is dying from sickle cell anemia.

These are haunting images. They capture our minds and rend our hearts. Yet in each case, there is a remarkably happy ending.

Simply put, these patients didn’t die, but cheated death and disability by receiving adult stem cell transplants. Each of these persons are medical miracles and living proof that adult stem cell treatments are treating patients who face a fatal sentence from a host of illnesses and injuries.

Adult stem cells are saving lives now and offering hope to patients with brain cancer, breast cancer, leukemias, lymphomas, heart damage, juvenile diabetes, spinal cord injury, sickle cell anemia, multiple sclerosis, and more than 70 other diseases. But the question many have is, “How?” Exactly what are these tiny biological entities that are bringing hope and healing to so many?

Great story.

Sure wish more people understood the difference between adult and embryonic stem cells.

A friend of mine had leukemia. He was on his death bed and was given the last rites on Christmas Eve.

He had gotten stem cells from his brother a few days before.

On Christmas morning, they took blood and his numbers were quickly moving to where they should be.

The doctor said it was a Christmas miracle. He's doing fine...but he now has curly hair like his brother.

Hair tends to come in "curly" following chemo therapy, but resorts back to it's original texture in a few months.

OTOH, I loved hearing the wonderful news about your friend. Praise God.

It’s easy to understand .. the left (abortion lovers) needed to have a scapegoat in order to cover for their abortions.

If they could use the stem cells of those they aborted .. by promising miraculous recovery of horrible diseases, this would somehow redeem them from their guilt of killing their children.

And .. if they truly believe that .. they’re sicker than we thought.
