Leftwingers are funny that way. Mentally fragile at best, they easily become unstable when reality kicks in and disrupts their gauzy view of the world. Recall the "trauma" counselors who came out of the woodwork after the 2000 election to treat "post-election trauma?" And the pathetic wretches who report becoming depressed because they can't have a real "Pandora" to go to?

Liberalism as a mental illness--the evidence continues to mount.

Mental illness, butt-hurt, you name it. Sooner or later, they will have to analyze how they went wrong.

They will find that they went whole-hog ideological, and would give no ground. Even when they did legislation that seemed on the whole to be addressing a critical issue, they ALWAYS tossed in poison pills, ideological ones, that no one w/ (R) by his name could possibly countenance. It’s called “a bridge too far”.

Bipartisanship is the responsibility of the majority. Their idea of it, though, was “come over to our side — take it or leave it” (or we’ll go it alone, which is just what they ended up doing). Believe me, if they’d have been more magnanimous, plenty of RINOs would have joined them. But NOOO-o-oo-o-o-o, they had to have it all their way. It’s good to know that this country, not even Mass., is still not full-blown socialist (yet).

Best description of liberals and my personal favorite.

"At the core of liberalism is the spoiled child - miserable, as all spoiled children are, unsatisfied, demanding, ill disciplined, despotic, and useless.

Liberalism is the philosophy of sniveling brats." - P.J. O'Rourke
