Here’s another task for our “To-Do” list:
Liine up a suitable conservative challenger to John Effin’ Kerry. After all, he’s been “stuk in Massachussetes” long enough.
Mental illness, butt-hurt, you name it. Sooner or later, they will have to analyze how they went wrong.
They will find that they went whole-hog ideological, and would give no ground. Even when they did legislation that seemed on the whole to be addressing a critical issue, they ALWAYS tossed in poison pills, ideological ones, that no one w/ (R) by his name could possibly countenance. It’s called “a bridge too far”.
Bipartisanship is the responsibility of the majority. Their idea of it, though, was “come over to our side — take it or leave it” (or we’ll go it alone, which is just what they ended up doing). Believe me, if they’d have been more magnanimous, plenty of RINOs would have joined them. But NOOO-o-oo-o-o-o, they had to have it all their way. It’s good to know that this country, not even Mass., is still not full-blown socialist (yet).
Well, Obama may not get health care but he can still get New York and Washington blowed up real good
Poor Andrea.
I feel her pain.
Hank
I’m seriously contemplating having some friends over and watching MSNBC lol.
Best comedy on TV since Carson?
Who CARES what this lisping FAGGIE Sullivan thinks!!
I always find the leftist lamenting Republican “nihilism” in the face of Obama laughable. The Democrats did exactly the same to Bush from 2006 to 2008, but these good governance, pro-bipartisanship liberals never complained.
what a joke. He parrots DNC/liberal talking points like no other, he is as nasty a queen as you will find and he whole heartedly embraces the socialism that Obama and the dems represent.
Why? Because religious cons don't approve of his lifestyle choices.
God gave Andrew Sullivan a brain to think with. Unfortunately he uses another part of his anatomy to control his thinking and it is obvious that he sees everything through his own personal homosexual prism. I would say his obsession with gay rights - benign or not-so-benign, conscious or unconscious is so overwhelming it occludes his ability to think clearly.
Huh. That's weird. In my alternate universe, I remember Senator Obama voting on that crap. But I guess he really had nothing to do with it. Poor guy, how can we mistreat him so?
And who were the geniuses that called Sullivan a “conservative” in the first place? Idiots all.
Sullivan just wants someone else to pay for his AIDs drugs that came as a result of his life style choices.
Andrew Sullivan and his gerbil are deeply saddened.
The RNC had the nerve to have Sen. Cornyn robo-call me yesterday begging for money for their senatorial election committee and using Scott Brown’s name as if they had been helping him all along. I reminded them I donate directly to the conservative candidates of my choice and please don’t call me again.
The RNC is useless.
I couldn’t agree with you more.
Actually, it's a U-turn on the road to hell we've recently been on.
Normal people dosed off a bit while freaks and losers grabbed the wheel. Adults are reassuming control.
Wonderful. Love it. Can’t celebrate yet but things look very good.
This isn’t a “care what Andrew Sullivan” thinks thread, its an Andrew Sullivan schadenfreude thread.
The leftist handwringing will be awesome to behold.
