The plant is in Karlskoga - Ripley's Believe it or Not! featured this a couple weeks ago.
“The plant's supplier, Konvex, a company that produces biofuels from animals...is a subsidiary of Danish group Daka Biodiesel which says on its Web site that it produces and markets biodiesel and bio fuel oil using animal fat extracted from ‘by-products from slaughterhouses and primary agriculture.’”

[JSteff:] Not very good eating... they are loaded with parasites.... and not particularly nutritious - If one is ever stuck in the woods and relying upon rabbit for a singular food source, remember to eat the blood meats (heart, liver, kidneys) or risk protein deficiency.
Still, all in all - it fills the belly, and I would agree with Graybeard that it shouldn't be wasted.

Do not know. Just did a Google image search for giant rabbits. My guess is it ate whatever it wanted. They were probably captive bred for size.
