Health care negotiators are facing “a serious problem” in resolving their differences and are not likely to have a final bill until February, according to key House Democrats involved in ongoing talks.

The talking heads of the MSM still fail to grasp the significance of the Senate election in Massachusetts next week. The desperate move yesterday by the DNC to pump money into Coakley's faltering campaign should be a clear signal of what is at stake, but still the MSM doesn't get it.

The 'it' is that if Brown should somehow upset Coakley in the special election next week, Obama will be a lame duck after only one year. The 'talking heads' and conventional wisdom are that even should Brown pull the 'upset of the century'(it is still only 2010, lol), the corruptocrats will just delay his swearing in and have their appointed lackey cast the 60th vote in the Senate to get Obamacare passed.

What the MSM and pundits fail to realize, and what Rangel is intimating in the above article is that the HOUSE OF REPS is a real problem to getting Obamacare passed. IF Brown wins, no amount of arm twisting by Speaker Pelosi and the White House will be able to round up enough votes in the House to pass Obamacare.

While only 1/3rd of the Senate is up for re-e;ection each two years, 100% of the House has to stand before the voters in November 2010. The shock of a Brown upset will cause defections in the House of massive proportions when it comes to backing Obamacare, Cap and Trade, card Check, Immigration reform, a 2nd 'stimulus', and every other of Obama's priorities.

Obama has done NOTHING to court Republican support for any of his initiatives. The Dems have closed off the Republicans because they thought they could get away with it. What they will find out if Brown wins, is that they suddenly 'need' Republican support to get ANYTHING passed. After dissing the Republicans for a year, that support will be impossible to come by. Last night I watched an interview with a Tenn Rep Congressman who was a doctor by trade. He was livid that he had made repeated offers to help in crafting a health plan that would actually work, and the White House did not even respond to his repeated offers. They did not turn him down, they just IGNORED his letters.

The hubris of this Administration has been on display for a year now and the people are not buying what they are trying to sell us. A defeat in the Senate race in Mass will turn the POTUS into a lame duck because his own party will abandon him when they realize the consequences of supporting his radical agenda.

My prediction is if Brown wins, Pelosi will be ousted as speaker (assuming the Dems can even hold on to a majority in 2010), Reid will retire rather than be defeated in November, and Obama will be too arrogant to make an accomodations with the Republicans and therefore his legislative agenda will be dead.

This is like a Friday the 13th movie, where you really want the hockey mask dude dead, but he keeps coming for more, even with a hatchet buried in his forehead.

This bill needs to be all dead, permanently.

Please G-d, please let Scott Brown win here in Massachusetts. My state and my country need the help to get back on the road in the right direction.

Please G-d!

I’m as excited about this election as I was about Christie winning in NJ.

My prediction is that if Brown wins, there will be a HORRIBLE AWFUL OMG RUN FOR THE HILLS 'terrorist attack' that will require the institution of martial law, the suspension of all elections, and approximately 20 million Americans dead by 2012.

Me too! I just donated to Mr. Brown’s campaign.

We really, really need the 41st seat.

That’s an absolute fact. If Brown wins, health care is dead for sure.

If the Dems stupidly try to take the vote with an appointed Senator, while an ELECTED Senator is waiting in the wings, not only is the rest of Obama’s agenda done, but so is any re-election.

Such a scenario will wind up in front of a judge. And someone will be in the uncomfortable position of trying to explain why a Senator chosen via tricks and rule changes should be allowed to cast this important vote. All while a duly elected (by the people) Senator is prevented from exercising the will of the people.

*glad it’s not me in this*

I, too, have donated to Scott Brown’s campaign quest. I only wish that I were a citizen of the great state of Massachusetts on January 19th, so that I could cast the most important vote of my life for Scott Brown. The most gracious God in Heaven has sent us Mr. Brown at just the right time. Just as our magnificent and protecting Lord sent our great country George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, etc. just when we really needed them, the Savior has sent us Scott Brown, a man for this critical moment of destiny. A win next week for Scott Brown goes far beyond the winning of a U.S. Senate seat. It is THE “Game Changer” that will begin to get America back on the track, away from POTUS Barack Hussein Obama and his socialist, America destroying Democrat Party. Citizens and voters in Massachusetts, forbears in one of the great movement states that actively fostered and brought on the American Revolution, you again are being called upon to strike a blow for freedom and individual liberty!!! Go from your homes, your businesses, your labor union shops, etc. and cast your vote for Scott Brown and continued American Freedom and individual liberty and choice!!!!

2 CORINTHIANS 10:3-5

3 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does.

4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

Isaiah 54:17

no weapon forged against you will prevail,
and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,
and this is their vindication from me,”
declares the LORD.

Heavenly Father, in the Mighty Name of Jesus, we come against all the evil that is planned for our countrymen and ask that You throw the enemy into utter confusion. Send chaos into the camp ... let them go about destroying each other. Raise up those whose hearts are like that of Solomon ... desiring nothing but to serve You in all wisdom and truth ... to rule righteously and well. Give them hearts free from greed and power and personal agenda, and make them utterly attractive to a people whose eyes are being opened to the evil around us. For the sake of Your remnant, Lord, stay the hand of judgment, that in repentance, we might again be the people whose God is the Lord. In the Matchless Name of Jesus, Amen and Amen ...

while I would absolutely LOVE to see Brown win this race and bring the Obama Bolshevik Express to a screching halt right in its tracks, my fear is that with a week to go, the clearly panicked Dems have more than enough time to bus in ACORN types and stuff provisional ballot boxes as they’ve done elsewhere.

Laz, do you really believe that? Unfortunately, I do. I am convinced there is an intentional attempt to “invite” attacts just for those purposes. Unfortunately, I fear it will work. But I just think I am crazy. It really scares me if you think the same thing!

Yes, I actually believe that.

HOWEVER

Our Hitler is a Gen-X version, and our generation is too damned lazy to do anything right.

So the only thing saving us from tyranny is the fact that our (and Obama's) couch-potato, doritoes-eatin', video-gamin' asses are too damned lazy and incompetent to even do fascism right.

So there will be blood in the streets and the trains will NOT run on time. Worst of all worlds.

Clinton's Assault Weapons Ban appeared dead at one point in '94. Clinton revived it, because his image was riding on getting it passed.

ObamaCare will not be dead until Obama is out of office.

It generally scares me when I find that Laz and I think alike as well. I think Obama, and the people who pull Obama's strings, will NOT back away from their best opportunity to grab power and achieve socialism.

Maybe I am just nuts but I don’t believe a bit of the above. THey don’t need 60 votes to pass this thing. I think this is the usual getting us off guard and saying it is hanging by a thread, yadda yadda, and it will pass in the dark night by 51 votes.

I hope everyone above is right but I cannot believe it. THe next few weeks are critical for our country and I fear the worst. Even if Brown wins.

Be very afraid.

I kid around a lot but sometimes I get serious.

Of course, I never post corpse pictures. That would be inappropriate.

Say, Mr. Silverback, can you think of anyone who might post an inappropriate picture of a lot of corpses? ;)

I dunno, Laz, I just don’t know. But hey, it’s nice when we agree to these boundaries, isn’t it? :-)

Oh, BTW, I just got a phone call from Todd Palin. He wanted your home address...said he wanted to mail you a nice fruit basket or something. So I gave it to him, and he said he’d be seeing you really soon. Sounds like a really nice guy!
