The dismissed case against five American security contractors charged with committing manslaughter in Iraq illustrates the complexities of fighting an enemy that chooses to wage war among civilians. Worse, it exposes the equally dirty battles conducted by government agencies against our own warriors when bureaucrats respond to political pressure.

and lest we forget, this firefight was in sept 07. Charges were bright when the investigation was complete in dec 08. Thats Bush’s justice dept.

Worst of all, they shot to protect a State Dept convoy. These same A-holes at State then prosecuted the very men who kept THEM alive. It’s truly an outrage.

Obama loves it. Bush should have pardoned them before leaving office.

The article goes into the timeline. Definitely a Bush ploy. His last few years were not so great.
