Thank goodness our Homeland Security people are on the job after the EunuchBomber botched attack on Christmas Day. We certainly don’t want to have independent war correspondents passing through our airports without revealing their annual income: Got arrested at the Seattle airport for refusing to say how much money I make. (The uniformed ones say I was not “arrested”, but they definitely handcuffed me.) Their videos and audios should show that I was polite, but simply refused questions that had nothing to do with national security. Port authority police eventually came — they were professionals — and rescued me from the border bullies. When they handcuffed me, I said that no country has ever treated me so badly. Not China. Not Vietnam. Not Afghanistan. Definitely not Singapore or India or Nepal or Germany, not Brunei, not Indonesia, or Malaysia, or Kuwait or Qatar or United Arab Emirates. No county has treated me with the disrespect can that can be expected from our border bullies.

I have a great deal of respect for Michael Yon, but before I make a snap judgment on this one I would like to know more about the circumstances from a source other than Michael and TSA.

My guess is that he is on Obama’s list. Conservatives are the enemies of this administration. Obama, Inc wants to destroy the US; they view Conservatives as the only true obstructionists to their agenda...the terrorists will only help them achieve their ultimate goals. It is only pesky heroes like Yon who put the wrench in their plans.

You don’t have to be arrested to be handcuffed in the course of a secondary inspection.

As to the rest of it, I’ll reserve judgement until we get “the rest of the story”.

I haven’t traveled internationally nearly as much as this guy but I agree with him. The ONLY customs people that have ever treated me badly were the US people.

TSA had nothing to do with this. If he was questioned on entry to the US, he was arrested by ICE — Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

They are looking for smugglers. The question makes sense, since he’s coming from an area with a lot of opium production.

Unbelievable. With the information that we have now we should ,realistically, be doing full cavity searches of all muslim males, but instead we do this.
