ow that Copenhagen is past history, what is the next step in the man-made global warming controversy? Without question, there should be an immediate and thorough investigation of the scientific debauchery revealed by “Climategate.”
If you have not heard, hackers penetrated the computers of the Climate Research Unit, or CRU, of the United Kingdom's University of East Anglia, exposing thousands of e-mails and other documents. CRU is one of the top climate research centers in the world. Many of the exchanges were between top mainstream climate scientists in Britain and the U.S. who are closely associated with the authoritative (albeit controversial) Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. Among the more troubling revelations were data adjustments enhancing the perception that man is causing global warming through the release of carbon dioxide (CO2) and other atmospheric greenhouse gases.
Particularly disturbing was the way the core IPCC scientists (the believers) marginalized the skeptics of the theory that man-made global warming is large and potentially catastrophic. The e-mails document that the attack on the skeptics was twofold. First, the believers gained control of the main climate-profession journals. This allowed them to block publication of papers written by the skeptics and prohibit unfriendly peer review of their own papers. Second, the skeptics were demonized through false labeling and false accusations.
Climate alarmists would like you to believe the science has been settled and all respectable atmospheric scientists support their position. The believers also would like you to believe the skeptics are involved only because of the support of Big Oil and that they are few in number with minimal qualifications.
But who are the skeptics? A few examples reveal that they are numerous and well-qualified...

As more and more scientists with suitable credentials weigh in especially after reviewing the ‘models’ that were disclosed in Climategate, the story will finally penetrate to the mass of Americans and people of the world.
Once that happens there should be government investigations and hearings. First up at an investigational hearing should be Al Gore. This man needs to be outed if not prosecuted as the scoundrel that he is.
Dr. Frank is very down to earth and always speaks the truth. He is well respected in Houston.
Yes he is. A real straighthooter that was above politics. Everyone likes and respects him.

This is the same tactic the lefties used to take over the educational establishment. While many of the rest of us were doing other things, inarticulate boobs like Bill Ayers were slowly working their way into the educational establishment at all levels, and poof here we are today.
I've seen the same thing with a nature organization Mrs. Felis and I considered joining. It was originally just about "let's learn." Thanks to the work of a group of hard-core, committed lefties, it became a nature group on the one hand, and on the other, an agenda driven side of the organization that was basically marxist conservation.
They do this everywhere...

Confirming what was already confirmed: Global Warming, now Global Climate Change, was and is the world’s greatest ponzi scheme’s, hoaxes, and lies given this world has gone through global climate change since its inception.
I never was really into Dr. Frank’s weathercasts. He always seemed to be wishing for bad weather. But he was always in the right place regarding the AGW hoax.
Socialist, Communists, and Marxists organized to take control of the institutions of US democratic society, nature, animal welfare, unions, government, education, arts, science, AARP, and more. Our own society is being used to destroy our society.
Hacked off? Now that's another story. (and amazed that so many people ignore basic chemistry and physics falling for this stuff)
