"had been taken into custody, but today tells the news the person was a passenger on a different flight."

You just have to understand government speak. This doesn't mean he wasn't on Flight 253 on Christmas Day. It just means that once, say six months ago, he was a passenger on a "different flight".

You have to know what the definition of what "was" is.

One strategy with the bags is that if the person is not wanting to be a “suicide” bomber, locking him in a room with the bags for a few hours might provoke some telltale behavior on the bomber’s part.

That’s one of the reasons in Germany your luggage was not put on the plane until you got on the plane and could not get off. At least deterred the hit-and-run terrorists.

Thanks for the update on this story. I find this guy Kurt Haskell to be extremely credible as a witness.

The FBI has a long history of covering up any and all Islamic terror incidents. If they possibly can, they just deep six the whole business. If they can’t do that, they pretend that the perp was some sort of crazy who acted alone.

We have only this one witness to the fact that there was an Indian man with an orange suit on the plane, who was handcuffed by the FBI and was probably carrying another bomb. But would he be willing to lie when the other passengers could come forward and contradict him? He says that they are confirming what he saw. And in the circumstances that is credible.

Why didn’t the Indian guy set off his bomb? Presumably because it needed some sort of priming or preparation and he hadn’t yet had a chance to do that. Why do we think the FBI was refusing to let people go to the bathroom alone? Because that would be a likely place to prep a bomb. That’s where the underwear bomber prepped his bomb on the plane—although he fortunately seems to have missed the powder with his syringe.

If that’s what they’re doing. My take—the FBI is following orders from the Obama admin to bury this story.

I recall in the wee hours a couple nights ago that FOX (probably FOX - I was nearly asleep) said he didn’t go through normal passport procedures.

I heard/saw another passenger make the same claims (about the second man taken into custody). It seems they were telling their stories simultaneously. Doesn’t sound like it’s a fabrication.

I agree, this is bad. I’m thinking that the Obama administration WANTS a terror attack to happen on our soil. They saw all of the “missed opportunities” for the Bush administration after 9/11 to inflict massive degradation of our rights, but they held back. If Obama gets his way, a terrorist attack on American soil that kills on the level of 9/11 will mean instant martial law and directives to confiscate property and weapons and setup “communities,” the new ghetto.

States rights are reaching critical mass. The Union of States needs to convene and disband this Federal government. There have to be procedures for evincing a State’s Rights coup d’etat. I would trust my own state before I’d trust the Feds at this point. I don’t know if that means secession, but I’m open to whatever is necessary to free us of this yoke of government.

The witness described the “sharply dressed” and “the man in orange” as Indian men. I believe they’re most likely Pakistanis rather than Indians.

I hope the FBI found out whom they are and what Jihadi organization(s) are they members of.

Even if the FBI finds out about the organization(s), other than al Qaeda, 0b0z0 will do nothing. That’s his MO, fearing to “punish” such organization(s).

The next big lie will come from 0b0z0, as expected.

Time for the administration to come out and tell us that eyewitnesses are know to be wrong about what they see. Remember flight TWA 800. All the eyewitnesses who saw a missile go up were mistaken, it was just the plane falling down that they saw. Why even the photo I saw of the missile that night of TV was apparently an elaborate hoax. It was just mass hysteria. The government knows best.

I’m not saying you’re right about Obama wanting an attack on the US, BUT it would give him an excuse to impose martial law so he can carry out the rest of his agenda without having to worry about a pesky Constitution or tea-partiers.

How then, did this poorly dressed, backwater guy negotiate the security process, avoiding the “Go through normal passport checking procedures” by himself, without the Sharp Dressed Indian mediator?

That's probably when they sent his name to us and we ok'ed him getting aboard since he was holding a US visa. The Haskell's story seems to fit with all that's been released.

I am with you. Maybe the FBI is waterboarding this guy and prevented other attacks from happening. I don’t think the public deserves to know everything if they are still investigating these other terror attacks.

The only problem I have with the authorities trying to avoid verifying some aspects of his account is their pitiful inability to do so convincingly. If the authorities can't find a way to do so without sounding so inept, then I begin to worry. When Obama’s goons are part of the equation — and we know they have great difficulty in coming up with plausible explanations — and the explanations seem quirky, then red flags become appropriate.

I have a sick feeling, and have for awhile, that
something will be allowed to happen to permit
them the cover for a state of emergency .. and
the suspension of all normal laws and Constitutional
protections. I pray I’m wrong.

Dear God .. save us from these thugs.
