58% Favor Waterboarding of Plane Terrorist To Get Information Thursday, December 31, 2009

Fifty-eight percent (58%) of U.S. voters say waterboarding and other aggressive interrogation techniques should be used to gain information from the terrorist who attempted to bomb an airliner on Christmas Day.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 30% oppose the use of such techniques, and another 12% are not sure.

Men and younger voters are more strongly supportive of the aggressive interrogation techniques than women and those who are older. Republicans and voters not affiliated with either major party favor their use more than Democrats.

Seventy-one percent (71%) of all voters think the attempt by the Nigerian Muslim to blow up the airliner as it landed in Detroit should be investigated by military authorities as a terrorist act. Only 22% say it should be handled by civilian authorities as a criminal act, as is currently the case.

I’d support it, but from what I’ve heard, he’s been spilling the beans anyway. I think he needed someone to talk to. A real weak sister of a sick puppy.

Quite interesting.

It doesn’t look like it’s going to be necessary, however, from what we know. He didn’t expect to live, and he’s singing like a canary.

Haha. Obama must be feeling all hopey-and-changey at the news that, despite his election, the majority of Americans still have the stones for the War on Terror.

Too bad we can’t put this guy’s panties on his head. We know how liberals feel about panties on the head.

It would just be a bonus we could light these up...

Well, they’ve been brainwashed to think that with earthly death in such a “noble” cause comes a new world of eternal sex with a gaggle of virgins. So not much bravery needed. There has got to be a larger terrorist network out there who are pooping their pants over being outed by this guy. Bummer won’t do the dirty work, but he does seem willing to let the goons of other countries do so.

Although I think that he may have given some info originally, such as “There are hundreds like me in yemen”, I’m pretty sure he lawyered up as soon as he got his shyster.

That's the story I'd put out too and see if AQ responds in any way. ;-)

he’s singing like a canary.

His self inflicted injuries would cause him to sing a few octaves higher.

This country has water boarded more of its own people in training than it has in gathering information. Something is wrong with that!

This the one thing I find a bit hard to square with what I’ve heard of typical Islamic suicide bombers. They generally wrap up their “members” well to prevent them from being blasted to smithereens in the explosion, believing that somehow this translates into keeping it in the afterlife with their virgins. This fellow might not have heard of this... or maybe he had other “armor” which isn’t being told about.

America is no longer shocked but it is really, really annoyed. One-note Bummer has to “blame it on Bush” of course, and in the process tell the whole world what our “secret” agents really did know.

This Administration intends to cater to their 30% base.

When Americans are opposed to one of their policies by 2:1, the Administration will thumb its nose at us and tell us to “stick it.”

Gonna be a long 3 years more.
