This is from the Boston Herald. I’m not sure what to make it of it. Is the claim actually true?

Screw the national GOP.

I'll send my money directly to Scott Brown's campaign. What is his campaign address?

That is just fine. When he wins he can tell the National Republican Committee to p*ss up a rope.

MA is a pathetically liberal state that votes in Republican governors from time to time when they know they’re suffering from too much of their own disastrous medicine. This could be a perfect time in that cycle to harvest such electoral self-knowledge to get a Republican Senator seated. Brown is certainly a credible enough candidate.

But nooooo, the Stupid Party’s national apparatus couldn’t lend itself to such a worthy cause.

The stupid party strikes again!!!

I think going third party is a recipe for disaster but when you see stuff like this it gets harder and harder to support the GOP. Everytime they get a chance to do anything significant they flub it. They had control of congress after 2000 , they go on a spending orgy and we get the clowns we have in there now. They had a conservative in the 22nd NY house race, they support the RINO until she drops out and supports her former opponent, leaving the conservative in the lurch and now they have a shot (not a sure thing I realize) at getting a Repub in the MA senate seat for the first time in memory and they wimp out.

“GOP U.S. Senate candidate Scott Brown has been all but abandoned by the same national Republican committees that pumped hundreds of thousands in campaign cash to former governors Mitt Romney and William Weld”

I take it that Brown is one of those icky conservatives?

Scott Brown can blame the national GOP for his defeat, after Scott loses badly to Martha Coakley on January 19. This will greatly boost Scott Brown’s image as an Independent thinker for any possible future run for political office. This is a good time to fully attack both major political parties throughout the entire U.S.

Un*****ing Believable...

I am so sick of the RNC, where is the leadership?

We need to shame them and drag Scott across the finish line in a victory, then he can tell them were to go.

How do we get all the talkers aboard and the likes of Sarah to put a good word in?

Can we man phones from a distance?

Can we get red-eye flights in an volunteer?

Not having to go up against a Kennedy or a Kerry, democrats being extremely unpopular, and this being a special election, I can’t imagine the GOP will ever have a better chance to take a Senatorial seat in Taxachusetts...yet, they are sitting on their hands. If only they had done that to start with in regards to Scozzafava. Hey, GOP, just pretend this guy is a RINO and pile the cash on!

What are his chances of winning the Senate seat from Mass? Close to zero? I don’t know how someone who is so at odds with the majority of the electorate can win a Senate seat from Mass....

They did something similar in RI by backing the spineless RINO Lincoln Chafee instead of supporting the true conservative, Steve Laffey.

Ever since then, they can go pound sand...and I tell them that every time they call me looking for money.

I have been saying for MONTHS, long before the Deedee Scozzafava ‘affair’ that the biggest obstacles to getting rid of the RINOs and getting someone in office to put up a REAL challenge to Democrats will be THE RNC!! THE GOP will prove to be a more formidable opponent and obstacle than the DEMS!!! Everything I have predicted is coming true!
ANd it wasn’t rocket science to be able to see it!
Michael Steele would just be satisfied to “compete”, as he’s put it, NOT win!!
