Maybe Capitol Hill security took matters into their own hands and locked the Hill down so that Obama and Congress can’t get back in after the recess. That would be a good way to keep our nation safer.

UPDATE: All clear at Capitol following gun scare
UPDATE: Capitol Police have given the all clear after locking down the Capitol complex following a report of a man with a gun. The individual in question was reportedly an undercover officer with a valid carry permit who was approaching the Capitol, POLITICO's Lisa Lerer reports.
