They might be about the same age, I'm not sure. But, they certainly aren't the same height. MO must be at least 5'10'', where Palin is in the 5'6"-5'7", I believe
But, the author is correct otherwise, Palin does always look more professional and neatly attired than either of the Obamas, and certainly more than Hilary Clinton, who sometimes looks like she just rolled out of bed.
Or just got up off the carpet. ;)
I think I read something, around the time of the inauguration, that MO is 6 foot, or maybe 6 ft and some inches. she is very tall.
John McCain is 5’7”.
Find any photo of Sarah standing in heels next to McCain and you will easily see that Sarah is no taller than 5’4” and she likely weighs no more than 115 pounds.
The beast is 5’11” and has to weigh at least 200 pounds.
That is because Palin actually has been a professional while the Obama geeks have been nothing but race-pimping gimme-gimme street-scum.
Having just seen Sarah and Todd Palin in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho a couple of weeks ago (though admittedly, they were sitting behind a table, shaking hands, signing books and chatting pleasantly) I was somewhat surprised how diminutive both husband and wife are. Granted, a lot of people seem that way to me, since I am 6’4 - but I doubt Sarah is more than 5’5, and Todd is shy of 5’9.
That’s okay - as the old saying has it, “Dynamite comes in small packages.”
I’m still trying to get over the shock of anyone in the NY Times’ building writing ANYTHING about Sarah Palin that was neither unflattering, nor backhanded.
That in itself may be the story of the year. LOL!
