As he took the oath of office before a record two million people, his approval rating over 70 per cent, Barack Obama believed he had been called on by history to remake America.
He had already spoken of a new “grand bargain” with the American people. The country, he was soon to profess, was on the crest of an historic wave – one that he would help "guide".
His aides believed Mr Obama was about to join the handful of truly transformative US presidents, such as Thomas Jefferson, Franklin D Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln, men compelled to achieve momentous change because of the crises they inherited.
Nearly one year on, Mr Obama, according to one poll last week, has an approval rating of 47 per cent – the lowest for any president at this point in his first term.

That gives 0bozo a net negative of -12%, and next year is going to be even worse for this clown. No one gets reelected with that massive mountain to climb after just one year in office. 0bozo is already history.
If states make him show birth certificate and proof he is a citizen he won’t be elected. that is for dam sure.

Well yeah, but it was the libs registering and voting in the primaries as ‘Pubs that sunk the GOP, they voted for McCain and put him over the top.

I never believed any of this. I knew he would take the nation down the road to destruction if he could. “Spread the Wealth Around”; sitting in that so called church for 26 years and not knowing the philosophy of that so called REV? ha..
