While President Obama's overall poll numbers aren't good, they aren't terrible either. More ominous for Democrats is the beating their party in Congress has taken this year.(continued)

Bozo has the lowest approval rating of any President ever at this point in their presidency and this guy says his numbers aren't terrible. I would like to see what he calls terrible.

The liberal pundits don't want to say it. But they're starting to grudgingly acknowledge that their guy is a bomb.

Eventually, they'll come to realize he might've been the worst thing that ever happened to the Democrat party. And America...

I would like to see what he calls terrible.

You know how it is with Lefties. They always set the bar lower for themselves than for their political opposition, and change it as they go, so that they can claim 'success'. Like: 5% unemployment under George Bush: terrible! 10% unemployment under Bozo: NOT terrible. $300 billion dollar deficit under Bush: TERRIBLE!!! $1.4 trillion dollar deficit under Zero" NOT terrible. Republicans: Keep the economic recovery going and protect US interests and freedoms: TERRIBLE!!!!! Democrats: Plunge the US into a recession/depression and compromise US interests and freedoms in every way: NOT Terrible. And so on and so forth... This sort of hypocrisy and corruption is the soul of Leftism.

They always set the bar lower for themselves than for their political opposition, and change it as they go, so that they can claim 'success' and attempt to deny the same to their opponents by using a completely different, higher standard. I have some email buddies in the UK. They are under the impression that BHO is solidly popular and enjoys broad support. Their perceptions are shaped by our propaganda press. One was absolutely shocked when I sent him links about the tea parties, gun sales and unemployment stats.

Anyway, they are being lied to about us like the Pravda used to lie about that other Communist superpower.

Obama’s in way over his head and doesn’t have enough sense to realize it.

Obama’s next moves will include the fairness doctrine - too many voices out there that just don’t agree with him. He will do what he can to make those dissenters less vocal and less profitable.

Zero and Congress are going down to a single digit in approval. The feces will be hitting the fan when everyone realizes they’ve been lied to, when they realize how corrupt these scum are, and when they realize they’re headed for hospice centers courtesy of Obama, Reid, and Pelosi et al.

To take out some of the effect of very high unemployment and do an objective comparison among Presidents, you have to adjust Obama's numbers up for the impact of unemployment and serious fear about the economy. A bad economy drags down the approval ratings of all politicians compared to their approval ratings during a good economy. We'll get a better read on where his approval ratings really stand next year when the economy recovers to some extent and people are less worried about losing their jobs.

Looking out a few years, I think very sluggish employment growth, higher taxes, higher general inflation, and serious inflation of energy prices are going to defeat Obama in 2012 and enable the GOP to take control of the House in 2010. If I recall correctly, income taxes go up next year (next month) when the Bush tax cuts expire and people are going to see a drop in their take-home pay at the same time that Pelosi and the House will probably start debating even more new taxes to reduce the huge deficit created by the pork stimulus bill and other bailouts for democrat supporters such as public employee unions, teachers' unions, the UAW, and the SEIU. Before long the American people will realize that they've been robbed by the democrats, who ran up massive debt to prevent layoffs and pay cuts among those democrat supporters. When the House starts voting for even more new taxes next year, then the rebellion will really get rolling and the democrats will be in bigger political trouble. If they don't vote for spending cuts or tax increases, then the bond market will object strenuously to massive budget deficits and interest rates on federal debt and mortgages will rise and start to suppress the economic recovery.

So the Dems have screwed themselves by overspending on pork and political paybacks to their core supporters. That spending has to be paid for now with higher taxes, spending cuts, or higher interest rates. We know they're addicted to government spending and so the House democrats will never cut spending significantly. That means taxes and interest rates are going up next year and therefore democrat congressmen are going down to defeat in 2010. Speaker Boehner has a good ring to it...I like that title.

Yup.
Only 44% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of 0bozo right now, as compared to a massive 56% that disapprove of 0bozo’s performance. 0bozo was elected with 53% of the vote, so he is know down 9% from the votes he had just a year ago.
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/daily_presidential_tracking_poll

0bozo now has a net -12 disapproval after only one year in office.
Even Bill Clinton, who was only elected with 42% of the vote, had an approval rating of a 56% after a year in office.
0bozo is finished.
