Obama already said it - if Grandma is sick she ought to take a pill i.e. too old for anything else.

Ezekiel Emmanuel already said it too - anyone in their 60s and on is on the way down side of the curve and therefore not worth spending money on - i.e. what they’ll spend v what they’ll take in from the taxpayer.

Sorta like being a slave in N Korea or a Jew in Auschwitz - is that tool worth spending money on? What can I get out of that tool compared to what I spend. It’s a simple cost benefit analysis to the state. To us it’s our life.

“Though we will begin paying for this bill immediately, we will see no benefits for years. (That’s the trick that allowed the CBO to state that the bill won’t grow the deficit for the next ten years.)”

Another Gem that she delivers that explains it simply

Hayworth if he runs, or that other guy from Sierra Vista if not. I’m happy to have the choice because the election before that there was nobody else on the primary ballet so I wrote in Micky Mouse.

What is most interesting to me is that this country red neck that could not possibly be smart enough to be VP is the first to speak out on so many issues and always picks a very common sense conservative position.

Look at her recent firsts: From NY23 to today, always first to state her posistion and support the right person and the right issue.

where are the “smart” guys?

Hiding under the bed waiting to see which way the wind blows before they crawl out.

I wish she had added only one thing to her comment on the bill.

The fact that 5% and maybe 10% if we knew all that went on of the senate had to be bribed to pass the bill.

A really good bill would pass on its merits. A majority would vote for it without bribes. That really says all there is to say about this bill.

I’ve been waiting all day to see what Sarah would post.

As usual, she nails it.

Question for Sarah: If elected, will you pledge to do everything in your Presidential powers to overturn this and all other Obama/Reid/Pelosi legislative disasters??

That's the Mother of all hypothetical questions.
Perhaps you should wait until she officially announces her candidacy?

Clear and succinct, as usual. Thank you, Governor.

She has been savaged in the press over the "death panel" nomenclature and she shoves it right back in their face. Fearless.

I don't watch Oprah, and I never got the whole attraction to her show.

Just more mindless programming drivel from the networks, IMO.

Palin has already done more with her life than Oprah has (also IMO).

That is, if you think that there's more to life than just making money and being the “popular girl”.

That’s it right there....the ultimate point!!!

Sarah is not afraid to step up and speak out....there is no one among the main presidential potentials and some of our leaders that are not afraid to speak the truth clearly and simply!!!!

She would come with long coattails — any GOP Senate would be able to nullify this.

[It is posts like this for which the Far Left despises her and wants to see her put on the sidelines permanently.]

Yes, but she is an idiot who cannot read or write, much less tie her shoes. And she is completely incompetent, and stupid too. /s

Another great entry from the 45th president of the USA.

Sarah Palin IS the answer.

Yes she does.....in no certain clear terms that’s easy for the average nonpolitical citizen to understand!

She reminds of Reagan in that way.

So true, especially one that'll have such an impact on society. This bill has partisan (Dem) stink all over it. That they had to add bribes to get the votes only makes it smellier.

Their willingness to jump on a grenade to 'take the hill' with this bill indicates their zeal to push America further into the socialist column without regard to their political careers. The screw-job this will do to the country suggests they're trying to win one for the zipper.

It's interesting to compare Sarah Palin’s outspoken Facebook comments with the milquetoast comments Mitt Romney has on his Facebook page.

I own property in Arizona and so am transferring my registration there next year so I can also vote for someone else other than McCain; please keep me in the loop so I will know who to vote for.

With the quickness of activities on issues, FaceBook has been the major way to get out articles, comments, etc.
Sarah knows how to use 21st Cen. communications.

Some on FR still think it is the 19th Cen. and should stand
on tree stumps to give speeches.

With 24/7 news, Sarah is smart getting her message out.

Come to think of it, a “death panel” is not strictly needed.

A “lottery” to see who gets care is enough to ration care. So leftists saying that a “death panel” is a lie, could very well be speaking the truth in the strictest sense.

The fundamental lie is, of course, that care won’t be rationed.
