Amnesty without Justice: Sacrificing American Children on the Pathway to Citizenship
Center for immigration studies ^ | dec. 22, 2009 | Ronald W. Mortensen

Posted on 12/22/2009 8:48:20 AM PST by AuntB

Amnesty: the act of an authority (as a government) by which pardon is granted to a large group of individuals.

The advocates for the "comprehensive immigration reform" bill that was recently introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives (H.R. 4321) claim that it is not an amnesty bill because illegal aliens have to pay a $500 fine, which is roughly 5 percent of the cost of the services of a good "coyote" or alien-smuggler.

This means that for a $500 payment, illegal aliens will be granted total amnesty from the multiple felonies that they commit in order to get jobs – document fraud, perjury on I-9 forms and identity theft.

In addition, under Sec. 404 of H.R. 4321 (see text below), all information provided by illegal aliens on their applications for legal status will be treated by the federal government as secret. This will allow the illegal aliens to list the stolen Social Security numbers, stolen identities, and counterfeit "green cards" that they have been using to get jobs on their applications for legalization without fear of prosecution. This information cannot be released to any law enforcement officer or even to the victims of identity theft.

This is outrageous since, according to the Social Security Administration, 75 percent of illegal aliens use fraudulent Social Security cards. According to the Federal Trade Commission which tracks identity theft, one in every seven cases (15 percent) of identity theft committed in the United States in 2008 was employment-related. The simple fact is that identity theft and illegal immigration go hand-in-hand.

Children are prime targets of illegal aliens since no one checks their credit histories. An impartial study in Arizona found that as many as 1.1 million Arizona children had their identities stolen.

These are not victimless crimes. Children and other Americans suffer very real harm when illegal aliens use their Social Security numbers. They have their credit ruined, are saddled with arrest records, are denied government means-tested benefits, and may even suffer life-threatening consequences if the illegal aliens using their Social Security numbers corrupt their medical records.

However, under H.R. 4321, the millions of American men, women, and children who are victims of illegal-alien job-related felonies will be sacrificed so illegal aliens can get on the path to citizenship.

This bill even prohibits government employees who are processing the applications of illegal aliens applying for legal status from reporting any criminal activity found in the applications to law enforcement authorities. And it threatens government employees with a $10,000 fine if they violate this prohibition.

Thus, under this legislation, if a government employee tries to help an American citizen who is the victim of an illegal alien, the government employee will have to pay $10,000 and will risk losing her job. If she protects illegal aliens and ignores the American citizens who are the victims of illegal-alien crimes she will be rewarded and allowed to keep her job.

In addition to protecting criminal illegal aliens, the bill (Sec. 407; see below) also protects and rewards the dishonest employers of these criminals. This is simply a bribe to ensure that employers provide the employment verification information required by illegal aliens to get on the pathway to amnesty and citizenship.

In return for helping the illegal aliens who have been using the Social Security numbers of American children, employers are granted amnesty, pure and simple. They don't even have to pay a token fine. According to the bill, employers "shall not be subject to civil and criminal tax liability relating directly to the employment of such alien before receiving employment authorization under this subtitle" and they "shall not be subject to civil and criminal liability under section 274A of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1324a) for employing such unauthorized aliens."

And what about those employers who obeyed the law and only hired legal workers and paid their taxes? They don’t even get a letter of thanks for playing by the rules – assuming they are still in business.

So in spite of the denials by the advocates for illegal aliens and their phony $500 fine, this bill, just like all previous "comprehensive immigration reform" bills, is indeed an amnesty bill for illegal aliens and their employers who have committed and facilitated felonies ranging from identity theft to tax evasion.

Where is the justice in this bill for the millions of American men, women, and children who are the victims of illegal alien identity theft?

Where is the justice for employers who made sure they hired only legal workers and who met their tax obligations?

Where is the justice for the millions of foreign nationals who have suffered because illegal aliens have lied and cheated in order to get to the head of the line?

The answer is that there is no justice in this amnesty bill.

Opinion Illegal aliens will find health care loopholes

December 21, 2009

Democratic Congressional leaders say their health care bills exclude illegal aliens.

They point for example to Section 1411 of the Senate bill, which ostensibly calls for a verification plan, but the wording is vague, and the proposal is duplicative.

Use of the existing Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) system should be required. Why set up another system when a perfectly good one already exists? It appears the bill was written like this in order to set up an inferior system meant to fail and allow coverage of illegal aliens.

This is just one example of loopholes built into the bills. The Federation for American Immigration Reform has just issued an analysis of the Senate bill, pointing out provisions that will help illegal aliens benefit. See it on their Web site.

If these loopholes remain in health care legislation, look for spiraling costs from ever-increasing waves of illegal immigration.

If these illegals are ever legalized, the final balance will be tipped. We should be treating these illegals like Al Quaeda Terrorists. The harm they cause is just as grave.

Amnesty push coming again — be ready

Dec. 21, 2009
Will this be the year of “amnesty?” Our community organizer is pledging to make amnesty a priority for the coming year when he says: “I think we can get it done.”

Specifically, he supports amnesty as a way of letting illegal aliens gain access to taxpayer-funded health care benefits.

The organizer in chief has met one on one with advocates of amnesty at the White House to assure them he shares their priorities.

Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano is describing immigration reform as a “top priority for both me and the president;” and she has met with amnesty supporters in Congress, including Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., who is expected to take the lead on this issue.

Members of Congress, including Rep. Luis Gutierrez, the most vocal advocate of amnesty in the U.S. House of Representatives, are promising special interests that amnesty is on the agenda.

According to Bob Goldsborough, head of Americans for Immigration Control, maybe this can be stopped if enough of us will help by any legal means possible — especially by contacting our members of Congress.

Early in 2010, the Democratic leadership, under pressure from the radicals, seems intent on a go-for-broke major amnesty bill — far enough from the November election to prevent an electoral backlash.

According to John Vinson, editor of Immigration Watch, even if the amnesty forces decline such a gamble, one can be sure they will pursue a piecemeal strategy to pass minor amnesties and subvert our immigration laws.

With many obstacles in front of a mass amnesty for all or most of an estimated 12 million illegal aliens in this country, some illegal alien advocates are considering backup plans to advance their cause. One is Thomas Saenz, who heads the Latino supremacist Mexican-American Legal Defense and Educational Fund.

If a major amnesty bill can’t pass, he recommends efforts to pass smaller amnesties for selected groups of illegal aliens such as farm workers and high school students and graduates who came to the U.S. illegally as children with their parents.

Another part of this stealth amnesty strategy he recommends is encouraging the Obama administration to go easy on immigration law enforcement and weaken existing laws. One is Section 287(g), which enables state and local police agencies to help enforce immigration laws.

Section 287(g) is a major target of the open borders lobby. At present 77 jurisdictions in 25 states (none in North Carolina) have signed on to 287(g) — a measure Congress passed in 1996.

The stealth amnesty strategy with respect to 287(g) is already in motion. Defending this valuable program should be high on the agenda of the true immigration reform movement and all who respect the rule of law.

Sen. Schumer has claimed that it is now time to enact amnesty for illegal aliens because allegedly we have made great progress in border control. But the Mexican border is still far from secure. The Justice Department admitted that vast stretches of that border are “easily breached.” Specifically, according to the U.S. Border Patrol, only 697 miles of the 1,954 mile-long Mexican border is under “effective control.”

With over 10 percent of Americans out of work, we continue to admit 1.6 million immigrants and visa recipients a year. Many legal immigrants come in under provisions that simply make no sense in terms of national interests and needs.

In addition to the 1.6 million admissions, we have a refugee resettlement program, significantly subsidized by taxpayers that brought 80,000 “refugees” into the United States last year.

For your future and mine, we need to take immigration seriously

Section 287(g) is a major target of the open borders lobby; enables state and local L/E to enforce immigration laws. 77 jurisdictions in 25 states have signed on to 287(g)--a measure Congress passed in 1996. Senor Saenz, a hyphenated Latino supremacist and agitator for Mexican government interests via the Mexican-American Legal Defense and Educational Fund is muscling the Obama admin to go easy on immigration law enforcement.

Ohaha is smoking something illegal if he thinks Americans will become accustomed to Third World mob rule---just on his say-so.

Now, if any state was ripe for an illegal alien takeover, it was the Nov 2009 race for NJ governor. The race was considered a "squeaker" that would go on till all hours. But two hours after the polls closed, the Repub was declared the winner with a comfortable 4-point margin (would have been higher were it not for Dem voter fraud).

The winning Republican Lt Governor candidate----a County Sheriff----was lacerated by latino groups. She had applied for the federal 287(g) program. Latinos began an allout assault---accusing the Sheriff of "political pandering" and for scouting incidents of indictable offenses such as driving under the influence by undocumented immigrants coming into the County jail, and asking about about immigration status, regardless of the offense.

The Sheriff had simply sought to ensure that "illegal criminals" were not unduly released for fear illegals would further harm the citizenry and the community.

NEW JERSEY IS "IDENTITY FRAUD CENTRAL" FOR LATINO IDENTITY THEFT

Two Texans busted in bogus ID operation in NJ NORTH BERGEN, NJ -- July 21, 2006 -- Pelcastre brothers, Angel and Jorge, Dallas, Texas, were a walking threat to US national security, expert document forgers who, for a few thousand dollars, could give anyone a new identity, authorities said. The Texas brothers turned a NJ hotel room into a business office and were readying a massive cache of fake Social Security cards for delivery to a local NJ identity broker.

The Texas brothers were a "one-stop shop" for a myriad of fake US documents, including birth certificates, Social Security cards, driver's licenses for any state in the US, passports and resident alien cards, said state police. Officers happened upon two cars bearing Texas plates in a NJ hotel parking lot. Authorities wouldn't identify the NJ hotel by name for fear it would spark retribution. The Drug Interdiction Task Force, regularly runs checks.

The Texas brothers were followed to a NJ office supply store nearby where they purchased computer supplies. Officers then followed the Texans to a NJ storage facility in Secaucus, NJ, where the Texans loaded several boxes into a car. One of them stood lookout. Authorities approached the Texas brothers when they returned to the NJ hotel and questioned them separately. The Texas brothers consented to a search.

Police recovered laminating sheets with built-in security features, pages of blank documents waiting for fake names and information, finished documents, computers and software to create the fake IDs. All told, the haul was worth about $500,000 on the street. Police also recovered $6,000 in cash, which was the first payment from a NJ fake document broker for a shipment of 500 Social Security cards.

===============================================

Ohaha was heavly invested in the NJ gubernatorial race. Ohaha's carefully laid plans----for installing a permanent Dem majority w/ illegals-----went haywire. Pulling out all the stops for NJ made Ohaha a VERY good target for those disgusted with Ohaha’s policies.

OBAMA WAS DESPERATE FOR A NJ WIN TO PROTECT THE WH AGENDA. Obama put the power of the WH machine behind Corzine. The NY Times reported:
(a) every TV ad Corzine put on the air was being screened by Obama's WH team.
(b) Corzine's aides gave the WH daily briefings.
(c) Obama’s pollsters took over for Corzine’s polling team.
(d) White House operatives were on the ground for internal strategy sessions.
(e) White House operatives were orchestrating obscure pep rallies with Latinos (kept secret from voters).
(f) Corzine had a "Peruvian Pac" endorsing him.
(g) Ohaha campaigned in the state three times, Biden was there twice. Ohaha TV ads ran relentlessly in costly NY media markets.
(h) Corzine promised to give illegals driving credentials & in-state tuition.
(i) Corzine sucked up bigtime and REFUSED to enforce current immigration laws.
(j)Corzine formed a Blue Ribbon committee of latinos and other hypenates who were using tax dollars to mine votes for Corzine.
(k) Also sucking up to illegals was Democrat US Sen Robert Menendez, a Spanish-speaking Corzine campaigner.
(l)Corzine appointed latinos to the Supreme Court and to other high profile state jobs.

Other pertinent facts:

>> Incumbent Dem Jon Corzine (the wealthy loser) outspent the Repub winner about 4-1.
>> New Jersey has a huge Democratic registration.
>> Corzine bragged he had 20,000 paid union helpers on the ground election day to get out the vote.
>> There was a third party candidate siphoning off Republican votes.
>> Corzine had the power of incumbency.
>> Corzine had the power of a crooked Democrat Machine cooking the vote.
>> Ohaha hid $17.5 BILLION stimlulus in New Jersey.....for Corzine's reelection campaign.

And still Corzine lost.

The WH's lack of political savvy was glaringly on display. Early in the NJ campaign, an onslaught of weird WH approved-ads blanketed the pricey NY media markets-----showed Ohaha at a NJ rally praising Corzine---with strange "reaction shots" of people w/ deadpan faces, watching Ohaha. Predictably Corzine's numbers fell precipitously.

But WH know-it-alls still didn't "get it." Ohaha and Biden came back to NJ---more weird Ohaha ads ensued. Corzine also ran some sap-happy liberal "I got feelings" ads. None of the pundits thought the Repubs could pull it off. The rest is history. It appears the WH bombed.....the unions failed Corzine.....and the Latino suckup failed.

THE UPSHOT According to Ohaha's slimy Press Secretary, Robert Gibbs, Ohaha was "busy with other matters" election night and "wasn't really concerned" with election results... an indication the WH is sucking up valium and vodka in order to anesthetize themselves from the aftermath.....trying to convince themselves the election was not a referendum on Obama.

=================================================

PASTE THIS ON YOUR BATHROOM MIRROR 2009 gubernatorial elections in Va and NJ clipped the wings of Obama’s hopes for a permanent Democratic realignment with illegal votes. NJ Repub Chris Christie and Va’s Bob McDonnell-—the only two 2009 statewide races) won Independents by a 2-1 margin, (66%-33% and 60%-30%, respectively); McCain lost Independents in each state to Obama a year earlier.

The tsunami is ahead---in 2010-12.

Ohaha is smoking something illegal if he thinks Americans will become accustomed to Third World mob rule---just on his say-so.

QUOTING CONG TOM TANCREDO: “Juan Hernandez headed up the Mexican govt agency, "Ministry of Mexicans Living in the United States." Hernandez is a dual citizen of the United States and Mexico, and a good friend of presidents Bush and Mexico's Vicente Fox (and was John MacCain's Hispanic outreach man)."

Hernandez said the purpose of the Mexican government agency "Ministry of Mexicans Living in the United States:"

(1) to increase the flow of Mexican nationals to the United States.....

(2) to serve Mexico’s needs.........

(3) to increase remittances to Mexico of $50 billion a year (30% of the Mexican GDP);

(4) to get US jobs for an exploding Mexican population, alleviating social instability due to rising unemployment;

(5) to get free US training for Mexicans, who are expected to return and repatriate those skills back to Mexico.

Hernandez supports amnesty: "By populating the United States with millions of Hispanics tied economically, politically and linguistically to Mexico, we are able to exert enormous influence and pressure on US policy and its dealings with Mexico."

NOTE:" Exerting enormous influence and pressure on US policy and its dealings with Mexico" means extorting billions of US tax dollars to subsidize corrupt Third World federales.

You don't even have to add the point about them gobbling up taxpayer dollars for medical care.

The fact is, it is utterly unprecedented in American history that foreign nationals who willfully broke multiple laws - felonies in many cases - will not just be pardoned, but they will have no record(s), their victims will get no justice from seeing them prosecuted, and best of all, they will be REWARDED for having done all of these things in utter and willful contempt of American laws, which is to say the American people.

And the REWARD will be something that EVERYONE ON THE PLANET WANTS - citizenship in the United States.

If they want more "immigrants", and I say "they" because virtually no Americans want more, then they should simply expedite the applications of all the good people waiting to come here. Hell, just on the first point, those people are better then the illegals who broke in.

Amnesty for illegal aliens is a crime and an injustice against America and all the people across the world waiting to come here.

And while we're on the subject, when will the Congress of the United States enact a general amnesty for say, tax evasion in the U.S.? Why should non-citizens be the Chosen Ones? If we're gonna throw the laws out the window, why not give the benefits to the average law breaking American?

What a disgusting IN-Justice against the Americans.

Critics say our CIA and State Department are well aware of the dark side of Mexico and regularly brief U.S. presidents on the reality south of the border.

Despite this, President Bush and now President Obama have been secretly working to integrate the US and Mexico into a common political and economic unit.

“It is unfortunate that Mexico got off to such a bad start,” said Glenn Spencer of the American Patrol Report,” but it is wrong to sacrifice the United States of America to correct problems south of the border.”

Spencer said while Mexicans are being besieged, which is nothing new for them, Americans are being betrayed by a government that refuses to protect them.

Immigrant advocates (AMNESTY) plan walk from Miami to Washington

http://www.miamiherald.com/news/breaking-news/story/1388660.html

[snip] A coalition of local immigrant advocacy groups will take part next month in a 2,000-mile walk from Miami to Washington, D.C., to urge passage of legislation that would allow illegal immigrants to become legalized U.S. residents and citizens.

Called the ``Trail of DREAMS,’’ the organizations are trying to build momentum for the latest immigration reform bill that was introduced this week in Congress.
