Snowstorms and subfreezing temperatures have battered Europe, killing 15 people in Poland alone overnight and wreaking havoc on air, train and car travelers from the Nordics to Italy on the last weekend before Christmas...In Italy, where winters are generally milder, heavy snow and subfreezing temperatures were causing havoc. Italian farm lobby Coldiretti warned that the ice-and-snow-blanketed roads were delaying the distribution of milk and produce while the freezing temperatures risked damaging fruit trees, olive groves and vineyards.

“Belgium’s three biggest airports, Brussels, Charleroi and Liege, were completely shut.”
Time for the Wehrmacht to launch a winter attack.

heh. I have talked with a vet who was one of those surrounded in Bastogne. He described in vivid terms how bitter cold it was that winter. Sounds like they have another 1944 on their hands.

I thought the arctic was ice free? Where's all this cold weather originating from? I suppose Al Gore took a trip up north to let loose his Effect...? Cheers to "Hopenhagen"!

Be sure to buy your carbon credits before the next ice age. Not to worry, the sun is showing signs of new sun spot activity. Give it a year.

Didn’t you get the press release? Cold weather is now part of Global Warming...whose name has been changed to Climate Change.

So, if it’s too snowy and cold, or too warm during any season...it’s ALL CLIMATE CHANGE. So Al has us coming and going.

Heard this expalined on NPR this morning. All unusual weather now explains the original “warming” model.

Sure.

More evidence of Global Warming.

By this time next year, there won’t be any ice anywhere....

One thin September soon

A floating continent disappears

In midnight sun

Vapors rise as

Fever settles on an acid sea

Neptune’s bones dissolve

Snow glides from the mountain

Ice fathers floods for a season

A hard rain comes quickly

Then dirt is parched

Kindling is placed in the forest

For the lightning’s celebration

Unknown creatures

Take their leave, unmourned

Horsemen ready their stirrups

Passion seeks heroes and friends

The bell of the city

On the hill is rung

The shepherd cries

The hour of choosing has arrived

Here are your tools

Algore’s poem on Global Warming - HAHAHAHAHA!!!! What idiots these people are!

They could use some global warming there in Europe.

Proof that God has a sense of humor, IMHO. I am rereading Michael Crichton’s State of Fear - published in late 2004, it is prescient about where we are now.

Just what I was thinking. Proof positive of global warming. That's what all the AGW true-believers will tell you. Take that deniers!!

AGWT is very robust with respect to data. All observations confirm it at the 100% confidence level.

I am going to laugh my ass off when the next ice age starts, and all the global warming people are burned at the stake for causing it, by reducing greenhouse gases :)

People are seen on the snow-covered beach in Nice, France, on the "warm" Riviera. This is an AP photo from Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009. Temperature is 3 degrees celcius (37,2 Farenheit

Sometimes I wish the Lord would just halt the earth for 10 years, and make temperatures totally constant.

Then I think harder, and I just want Jesus to come back.

I have read it twice also. Everyone needs to read this book. Hand this book out to your liberal friends.

“Where’s all this cold weather originating from?”
From all the carbon emitting refridgerators, of course. It’s a vast right wing conspiracy to undermine the Copenhagen conference.

I’ve frozen my butt off a time or two, but it’s only been for a half or 3/4 day. It would totally suck to do so for days on end.
