Hannity: Pelosi will take Senate bill and ram it through House in conference
Hannity Show on Fox | 12/16/09

Posted on 12/16/2009 5:32:27 PM PST by pabianice

Hannity and Dick Morris discussing ObamaCare. Consensus is that Pelosi will take whatever the Senate passes and ram it through the House in reconciliation. Passing this monstrosity is all the dems care about, even if it isn't what they want. They WILL NOT LET Obama make his state of the union whine in January without this bill having been signed into law. Dems are having a mass psychotic break on this, even if it means the Repubs retake both houses next November. Taxes take place immediately but benefits don't until 2013-2014. And they may get away with it since Obama has stolen over $500B of TARP money to help Dems win next November even if 85% of the voters don't want them reelected. We are entering a true South American dictatorship.

Obama didn't live in the US until he was 10. Then he lived with his commie grandparents. And not on the Mainland. Think about it.

Reid and Pelosi like the power and they see citizens as beneath them. Worker ants.

Let him get up in front of the American people and tell them the Democrats passed health care without the help of a single Republican.

The GOP should boycott the State of the Union if this happens. Let the NY Times pee on itself in indignation over the failure to pay homage to the One.

Dear Governor Perry,

On March 30, 2009 the Texas House of Representatives passed HCR 50 affirming that the State of Texas claims sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment.

You have publicly supported this bill, and stated that attorney generals from all over the union could be getting ready to sue the US Government.

We are asking you to take the lead.

We are asking you to order the Texas Attorney General to publicly begin working on a law suit under Article IV, Ninth, and Tenth Amendment of the Constitution.

We are asking you to protect the citizens of Texas that we will not stand for government controlled healthcare in our state.

Under your leadership we can effectively kill the proposal of this administration and allow Texas to be a state free from socialism and collectivism.

Be the voice of reason in the national debate and allow Texans the ability to solve the problems of our state.

Thank you,

Facts about the 10th Amendment:

The Tenth Amendment (Amendment X) of the United States Constitution, which is part of the Bill of Rights, was ratified on December 15, 1791. The Tenth Amendment restates the Constitution’s principle of Federalism by providing that powers not granted to the national government nor prohibited to the states are reserved to the states or the people.

HCR 50 HAS PASSED THE HOUSE 99-36!

HCR 50 HAS PASSED THE HOUSE 99-36!
Affirming that the State of Texas claims sovereignty under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States over all powers not otherwise enumerated and granted to the federal government by the U.S. Constitution, serving notice to the federal government to cease and desist certain mandates, and providing that certain federal legislation be prohibited or repealed.

REMEMBER THIS,TEXANS:

Feds Have Built Only 32 Miles of 700 Mile Double-Border Fence Originally Mandated by Congress

“One reason DHS has been able to do this is an amendment that Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R.-Texas) slipped into an omnibus appropriations bill that Congress passed on December 18, 2007. Hutchison’s amendment put a loophole in the fence law that allowed the secretary of Homeland Security not to build the fence Congress had mandated the year before.”

Purportedly, the Republicans, through parliamentary procedures, can hold up a vote until Christmas Eve. I doubt Reid would call the Senate into session on Christmas Day. Chances are remote this gets done before the end of the year.

If Pelosi wants the House to just ditto whatever the Senate does, she need not even go to conference; conference is avoided if the House votes on the identical bill. And that’s the danger, in my opinion. Talk of a conference may be a subterfuge, allowing more moderate Democrats in the Senate to vote for the bill, while thinking that they can still oppose ObamaCare once the bill gets back to the Senate after conference - but then, whamo, the House votes the identical bill, Obama signs it, Game Over.

Last week I maxed out my weekly paycheck deductions at 8.

I will do whatever it takes even if illegally to prevent the Federal Government from making me pay for this, it just won’t happen.

This will create a nation of Dillingers.
