The White House is calling for one million calls to the Senate in favor of healthcare. I just got an email. It referenced how in August unions made calls in favor of the healthcare bill and that everyone needed to do it again now. This signals that the Senate is ready to ram something through, and go home for the Christmas Holiday. Anyone who can needs to get on the phone ASAP (as soon as possible) and register your opposition to this disasterous attack on your freedom and the very expenditure that could break the bank. Please pass it on,
My Congressman won’t vote for Obamacare, my Senators (Lautenberg and Menendez) will, I’ve called them and they don’t care. People in swing states really need to call their Senators though.

Knowing the bunch in the Senate, I would not be surprised if every phone call that comes in, whether negative or not, would be counted as supporting the passage of that legislative atrocity! Mendacity is their strong suite!
One the most annoying but least talked-about things in this process is the cowardice that pervades.
The bill’s contents shift constantly because of cowardice.
The bill is a football between the houses of Congress because of cowardice.
Votes and opinions shift constantly because of cowardice.
Funding of the bill’s provisions is done in a cowardly fashion with stealth taxes and so-called targets.
Most of all is the cowardice displayed by those who talk a good game but offer up this duck-billed platypus posing as legitimate law.
They want socialized medicine but lack the courage to say so. I oppose socialized medicine on every principle possible but I might respect their views more if they had the guts to be honest.

Paste that link into your browser, bookmark it. Their phone numbers are in there, too. Don’t let up on your elected officials to tell them how bad this “reform” bill is. Keep after them about it. People are being bribed and threatened over this—it’s not just about insurance, but our liberty. It’s our freedom that is at stake. Please continue to hammer away at your Senators about this terrible, absolutely horrific piece of legislation. There are worse things in store for us if we allow this legislation to pass.

The way left is on the warpath against this bill also, Obama and Reid are losing the base. It looks like Obama is the author of Democratic Party chaos.

Even Dianne Feinstein had to admit her mail ran 90% against the bailouts when she voted for them.
Feinstein may remain, but I have a sneaking feeling we will be rid of Barbara Boxer after 2010.
I thought they were having a Democratic love feast yesterday at the White House with all smiles now that Joe was on board. Must be really bad if the White House needs to have people calling their Senators.
