Sen. Jim DeMint (R-S.C.) is putting Capitol Hill on a "Code Red" alert Tuesday in an effort to stop the Senate's health care reform legislation.
In a release from his office Monday, DeMint announced he will speak at what is being billed as an "emergency rally" coordinated by several groups, including the American Conservative Union and the Susan B. Anthony List.
"The event has 'tea party' trimmings and plenty of muscle, including grass-roots support from six states," according to the GOP senator's Web site.

Capitol rally ping
Sure wish our Crapitol wasn't at the other end of the USA!!!
Good for DeMint.
It’s good to see somebody staying on top of this.
NEVER let your guard down, and ALWAYS keep in mind that the scumbags to do ANYTHING.
Day before yesterday was Sunday.
He's not on Sunday.
C-SPAN3 will be covering the Capitol Hill rally starting at 1:30pm ET.
This needs to be stopped.
I subscribe to DeMint's youtube channel, I'd vote for this guy, he's one of only a handful of conservatives in DC
Big news....LINCOLN, LANDRIEU, NELSON and (what appears to be a waffling) LIEBERMAN need to be told to vote NO!
We’ll be there. I’m leaving in a few hours.
Can you help out? Freep this poll ( choice #3):

LOL. I remember hearing about Bloomberg and the groundhog.
Yea, well, sometimes it’s hard to believe that Staten Island is part of NYC...
I long for secession, but too many worry about the “cost.” I, for one, would pay whatever it took to be disconnected from Bloomberg’s City Hall.
Demint is a stand up guy. I’d vote for him.
Well, think of it this way: it could be worse; you could be part of New Jersey, LOL.
Sure hope there’s a great turnout. I was able to go last time, but not this time.
Waste of tie and energy. The Dems do not care and are not listening. When they say âthe majority of Americans want this reformâ they are talking out their a$$es and telling us it is happening no matter what we do. Spend the time and energy looking for their replacements. 0 care is a done deal in one form or another.
Lets not have one at the beck and call of any politician. For now the movement is far, far better served by avoiding being controlled by a political party. Even if it would only be in perception.

Yeah ;-)
Staten, thanks for the support!
