So good to see you're practicing your conversion skills, Ernest. Here's a little something to practice on.

( Note; Scientists say that ice shelf calvings such as the one in 2000 happen about once every 30 years.)

"Soon to roll south."
It is already rolling. Soon I will be freezing my tootsies off in Philly. We got horrendous heavy rain yet another day, which had the cold moved down a bit faster we would have had five to six feet of snow.
I have been watching the progression of cold move down into Canada the past few days. There have been many daily records broken. And many areas across those provinces east or British Colombia eastward past Manitoba have had a lot of snow as well as in each province at least -30C and low cold points.
New England has pretty much got socked in to by the looks of it.
Today.... in one provincial park in Victoria Australia... into their second week in summer.... the just got a a half foot or so of snow, and even Edmonton on the coast got a dusting.
Meanwhile the freak show continues in Copenhagen, the land where everyone seems to own a real expensive car that most probably get poor fuel mileage. Guess their having a hell of a good time dinning and getting drunk and figuring out how to rob the world of it's wealth.
It is a shame they can't be totally locked up by a huge winter storm that closes the city down for a few weeks, and prevents zero's plane from even landing. It would look great.
