This isn’t journalism, this is DNC talking points straight from Zero’s desk. If I were Joe Klein’s editor, I’d reject it and say “Do over.”

The MSM waited 2 weeks for the AGW lackies to get their stories straight before covering Climategate.

Well, it WAS written by Joe Klein, the malignant little dwarf...

What sort of people don't understand that lowering our dependence on foreign oil is in the long-term national security interests of the country? (Answer: those who have no problem with an oil-based, neo-imperialist foreign policy.)

LOL. Drill, baby, drill.

“I’m slightly mystified by the passion this arouses on the right”

I should happily lower my standard of living on the low probability of future AGW? Duh.

By this reasoning, Klein should become a Christian just in case its necessary to get to heaven.

With a single sentence it is immediately apparent that this is a vehement radical extreme liberal. One that is vitriolic to anyone who says anything other than the radical belief of progressive socialists.

God help us in our day, in Jesus name, amen.

What sort of people would be willing to place a significant bet on the lives of their grandchildren?

Exactly right, but wrong conclusion. I'm not willing to risk my children's future by wrecking the economy based on a long-shot bet that somehow this junk science is right.

The general tone of the article is pathetic. Klien sounds like he is begging readers to believe him, but knows that nobody will.

In the end, I'm slightly mystified by the passion this arouses on the right--although much of it, I assume, is oil-lubricated.

Idiot.

The Washington Post devotes valuable op-ed space today to Sarah Palin

Well since Ted Kennedy died Ruth Marcus just hasn't had any material to bore us with.

For you folks who don’t think Palin is relevant to the current national discussion, ask yourself when has one Republican absolutely driven the Left absolutely crazy and make them come unhinged?

And if you say she’s not that smart, then ask yourself-you cares-in politics it’s all about perception. Do you think that the Left would spend this much time on Palin if she didn’t have the potential to torpedo its agenda. Why not spend at least 1/2 the time and effort in taking down Romney or Huckabee? Seriously, why do you think? Could it be the Far Left is not afraid of Mitt or Huck? Now you might say the Far Left is crazy to be so obsessed with Palin. And you might be right but it is what it is.

In other words to those on the right who are anti-Palin get a life and smell the coffee. There is a reason that Palin drives the Left crazy and it’s called FEAR.

Obviously your dumba$$! Palin wants to increase DOMESTIC production and nuclear energy. You asshats want to keep sucking on foreign bought oil.

It is insanity and stupid to not be drilling in America, Alaska, off shore, Montana and other resources known and confirmed.

We are deliberately destructing our own national economy, security, through the EPA., and making us depend on our enemies for our oil. . It takes oil to fly airplanes, fight a war, drive vehicles, heat our homes.

What had blinded us to this absurdity?

The current government wants us on bicycles and not to have availability to move around freely. $5 or $6 dollar is coming. Wait and see.

Too much power in too few hands. Change this deplorable situation. NOW!

God help us in our day, in Jesus name, amen.

I didn’t bother to read the article.

Does anyone read Time anymore?

Other than public libraries or a few hundred doctor’s offices, does anyone pay for a subscription?

Back in the 60’s, Time was a pretty good weekly newsmagazine. I was in junior high school then, and it was a natural transition from the Weekly Reader.

Since the 70’s, though, Time has gone to pot ... it’s nothing more than a dimwitted leftwing rag.
