The only Coke in glass bottles sold in my area , comes from Mexico . I hope the water is boiled during the process .

I just bought a couple two liter bottles of Coke for tomorrow. One one side it says “Holiday 2009” and on the other it says “Feliz Navidad”. I guess Spanish speakers don’t have to be shielded from any dangerous Christmas influences.

here is what i don’t get. why do some companies feel compelled to put ANY kind of “holiday” stuff on their products. i don’t see a santa on my dishwasher detergent. no happy holidays nonsense on the ketchup bottle. why do these companies put any kind of “holiday” greetings on the containers? if they are worried about offending someone, why not just scrap all of it?

It’s a promotional thing. They get to “get into the holiday spirit” with themed packaging and commercials. The current “American Santa” is basically the 1930s Coke advertising Santa.
